I'm defo not as sold on Udogie as others on here. Really pissed me off with his lazy defending last season. Didn't have much variety to his attacking play either. But yeah, only a kid ain't he. That's why I think proper competition would do him a world of good. But knowing how we operates, it'll be a cheap backup...and that's if we bring one in.When you put it like that
We don’t need Maldini and Figo. We definitely could use Figo though
Motta wants to get rid of a bunch of Juve players (actually good ones) like Chiesa and apparently Locatelli. If their agents are shopping their clients around England then it makes sense to approach Italy FC.Such a random link at this point in the window. Must have been offered to us or something
So pretty much the wingers being discussed by the sounds of it

Not really seen much of him at Juve but for Sassuolo and when he broke through for Italy he was a box-to-box type player, long legs getting up and down the pitch. He never seemed like he would be a good DM at all, so maybe he’s been misused there. Juve do have previous with doing that.He used to be very good, especially at Sassuolo, where he ran the show. Done okay at Juve but really hasn't moved mountains and gone of the boil them past few months. Not making the Italy squad more than 30 odd times when the Squadra Azzura has been underwhelming for years (despite that fluke 2020 win), that tells its own story.
Feels like another poor man's Pirlo but then again, not an easy feat to fill those shoes. Personally, I think he'd struggle in the PL. Don't have the physicality nor the pace. But perhaps his quick brains and vision would save him? Just hope he gets back to his best if he stays in Serie A cause he's a smooth operator when on song. Seen some interviews and sounds a nice, humble lad too.
fogueres cosa ne pensi, fratello?
We need someone like him, protects the defence, links defence and attack and orchestrates our play. We would have a great mixture of experience and youth.

Still only 20. I imagine this loan will be his last chance to show he's progressed.
Just can't see it happening, now.Still only 20. I imagine this loan will be his last chance to show he's progressed.

Kulu gotta play centrally...6, 8, 10, 9...I trust him.
Must bring in a true talent at RW to battle it out with Brennan, but again...can't see it.
Leaving our manager short is what we do.

Tottenham keen to execute ‘dream deal’ for midfielder - Spurs ‘ready to offer’ fee to convince club - Sport Witness
Manuel Locatelli has had a difficult few months. The Juventus midfielder was excluded from the Italy squad for Euro 2024 and in recent pre-season friendlies, he has was even booed by some Juve fans. The possibility of his exit has now been spoken about and Tottenham could be a potential suitor...sportwitness.co.uk

Aye, that was my post. And I stand by it. You are using the mentalness at Chelsea to make your point. Not sure that’s valid.Yesterday for example:
LB seems to be the one area we are struggling and it’ll be a tough one to do. I’d love to see us get Antonee Robinson, but doubt he’d come to be an obvious understudy to Udogie.
It is a common excuse that gets rolled out. Similar was said about CB before we signed Dragusin.
It's so small time.
