We'll never forget you, bro.

When you put it like that 😂

We don’t need Maldini and Figo. We definitely could use Figo though
I'm defo not as sold on Udogie as others on here. Really pissed me off with his lazy defending last season. Didn't have much variety to his attacking play either. But yeah, only a kid ain't he. That's why I think proper competition would do him a world of good. But knowing how we operates, it'll be a cheap backup...and that's if we bring one in.

Kulu gotta play centrally...6, 8, 10, 9...I trust him.

Must bring in a true talent at RW to battle it out with Brennan, but again...can't see it.

Leaving our manager short is what we do.

He used to be very good, especially at Sassuolo, where he ran the show. Done okay at Juve but really hasn't moved mountains and gone of the boil them past few months. Not making the Italy squad more than 30 odd times when the Squadra Azzura has been underwhelming for years (despite that fluke 2020 win), that tells its own story.

Feels like another poor man's Pirlo but then again, not an easy feat to fill those shoes. Personally, I think he'd struggle in the PL. Don't have the physicality nor the pace. But perhaps his quick brains and vision would save him? Just hope he gets back to his best if he stays in Serie A cause he's a smooth operator when on song. Seen some interviews and sounds a nice, humble lad too.

fogueres fogueres cosa ne pensi, fratello?
Not really seen much of him at Juve but for Sassuolo and when he broke through for Italy he was a box-to-box type player, long legs getting up and down the pitch. He never seemed like he would be a good DM at all, so maybe he’s been misused there. Juve do have previous with doing that.

We need to do so much more this window.

Udogie competition and a really dangerous winger that forces teams to defend him are the bare minimum.

As you say though, this club won’t make the budget available.

Manuel Locatelli 🤔

Did he have injuries or something?

He’s was looking like the best Italian CM of his generation a season or 2 ago

Spot on.

Udogie is not infallible. He has defensive lapses, holds onto the ball too long and doesn't really have a delivery on him. When he is on it he is formidable though, with the positions his physicality allow him to get into he should be getting double figures G/As really.

I'd love us to bring someone in with a cultured left foot as competition. One that can swing balls in for Solanke to finish.

Kulu looks very good atm. I think our "first choice" CMs are in trouble.

Biss on hippy crack, Sarr not technical enough, Madders having an 8 month strop.

Would not be at all surprised to see a Bentancur, Bergvall and Kulu midfield emerge quite quickly.

Yesterday for example:

LB seems to be the one area we are struggling and it’ll be a tough one to do. I’d love to see us get Antonee Robinson, but doubt he’d come to be an obvious understudy to Udogie.

It is a common excuse that gets rolled out. Similar was said about CB before we signed Dragusin.

It's so small time.
Aye, that was my post. And I stand by it. You are using the mentalness at Chelsea to make your point. Not sure that’s valid.

Who is Man City’s backup left back after the centre back Gvardiol? Rico Lewis the right back? Josh Wilson Esbrand? No, I’ve not heard of him either.

Woolwich? Zinchencko? Kiwior? And that’s only if they play Califori the centre back out of position.

Liverpool’s backup to Andy Robertson? Tsimikas.

Chelsea would be ok if Chilwell wasn’t permanently injured but they do also have Cucurella.

Point is, very few squads have quality in every position, particularly at backup. Just because Chelsea have got five right wingers doesn’t mean that this kind of depth is the norm. It’s freakish.
