Weve had a good window clearing the deadwood. Good professional and popular with players but emerson wasnt good enough. Barca conned us getting him and were quite open about it after we signed him saying we signed a dud. Hope we return the favour with regulion going there. Were in credit.

Chelsea would be ok if Chilwell wasn’t permanently injured but they do also have Cucurella.

Point is, very few squads have quality in every position, particularly at backup. Just because Chelsea have got five right wingers doesn’t mean that this kind of depth is the norm. It’s freakish.

Both teams tend to use CBs as their full backs. So City will have Gvardiol/Ake at LB and Walker/Akanji at RB.

Woolwich will have Califori/Timber/Zinchenko for LB.

That's a hell of a lot more depth than we have.

All the teams you mention have natural backup. Yeah Tsimikas may not be elite but he's a natural LB.

Chelsea signed Cucurella for 60m when they had Chilwell established.

We are hoping Spence or Donley can do a job there otherwise we are sticking VDV there and losing him in his key position for us. And anyone still mentioning Davies needs to go and rewatch the last NLD.

Squads are 25 man deep. It's not unreasonable to expect at least 2 dedicated players per position.

We have it everywhere else except LB.
