The moaning in here is woeful - bad second half, poor finishing and a bit weak after the goal but its the first game and people wanna sack the manager, complain about signings and having world class centre backs.
If some of you don't have the backbone for a point away you are in for a long long season let alone few years.
Its going to take literally years to get back up the table and properly turn this squad around with our team in its current state and our signing young players with huge potential.

All of our top 8 rivals would’ve buried a very poor and under strength Leicester tonight. That’s the worry.

I don’t have the inclination to single out individuals after one game. However, the mental fragility was there for all to see. It never changes! For all of the managers big talk about winning things and character, the way they fell to pieces in the 2nd half was as telling as it was embarrassing

A Lot of our players have a bad habit of walking with the ball. So many occasions where we could quickly zip it forward and we let the opposition settle. Not every ball has to go back to Vicario either. The drop off in intent at times is dreadful, correct me if im wrong but at one point did we not go all the way back to Vicario from our own corner? Go for the kill ffs.

Yes said that last season. Sometimes cuti is at a standstill but apparently that is to draw the oppo out. All it does is allow them to be back in position. Where we make it even more contested as all our players join them in their final third. Whilst our CBs pass the ball to each other or Vic and then play suicide balls to midfielders like the one berg got.

Son was a presence for the first 30 IMO, then he gradually faded into the mist, and slowed down or annulled pretty much every attack down the left, in the 2nd half. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but that's how I saw things tonight, and should've been hooked much earlier.

Dominant first half - should have and could have been ahead by 3 or 4 ....... but we went in only one up. And Leicester hardly had a shot in that half.

Not taking those chances we were always vulnerable and sadly we got caught out by Vardy

We won't be the only team this season with that story. We just need to do better this season

Weird thing is the like of Gray, Bergvall even if they where not perfect tried to show balls and make things happen.

Johnson, Son, Sarr all to often go missing when the opposition turns up the heat. For all their talent and with Son it’s a lot there is a mentality issue with some players.

I get the feeling Gray and Bergvall will be first choice XI players very quickly.

For me it's one of the worst things to watch the first game of a new season and see exactly the same issues as the season before. We've signed 1 new starter when there was clearly a minimum of 3 needed. We look to have learned nothing and worked on nothing to improve from the season before. Everything was exactly the same barring Solanke.

Bissouma was a big miss for us I feel. Kulu deserved a start after pre season and looked good when he came on. Hopefully we see Biss, Kulu, Mads midfield next week or kulu RWF and Bergvall in midfield.

Absolutely! I felt embarrassed for R7 in the end, and the media love-in was just cringeworthy. Although, I'd like to add that Son is in no way the petulant Peacock that Ronaldo is, and I consider him very humble, and likeable in comparison. However, I feel that his flame has been on the wane for a while..............

I didn't really think much of it. Keepers are known for yelling at their own teammates all the time.

It was a pretty bad error as well, he dribbled right into 2 defenders and lost the ball. I can see why he was frustrated.

Goalies lose their shit regularly when a player fucks up. Big deal!

They might do but probably in different circumstances. We shit the bed and should’ve had the 3pts wrapped up by HT.

Woolwich, City and Liverpool would’ve battered this Leicester team and yet, Ange talks about wanting to win things etc.

2pts thrown away. The first points of many I fear this season if they don’t toughen up and also engage their brains

It's not about new signings etc. We had our best line-up since forever. The issue is the way we approach the game tactically and I see no improvements from last season. Ange's stubbornness or inability to change our approach midgame is still the same.

Werner shoehorned in at RW so an ineffective Son can stay on the pitch.

Subs not even told to warm up until 65’, can’t get on til 71-72’.

No guts to make a change until too late.

No sign of offensive patterns except for whatever Maddison could create.
