Ange okey cokey :roflmao:

And do YOU think signing 1 first team player this summer was sufficiently backing the manager ?

Depends what the manager wanted.

Do you know what he wanted? If you do tell me his specific needs?...don't bother because you can't

Until then we can only go by his own words that he's actually owned himself since he's been here, this is public information by the way I'm not making it up.

We can carry on buying all the average players we like. But don’t be shocked when we have the usual average season.
We haven’t really significantly upgraded our attack which is tough to do considering it’s pretty average. Buy levy managed to do it again

But the trouble is, he can point to spending lots of money and use that to say he’s backed the manager. From what we have been told via the media, he wanted Eze, Neto, Gallagher and solanke. Yet only gets one of them. As per usual whoever is in charge doesn’t get exactly what he’s after. You can’t sign lots of players the manager wants every year in case they are sacked but those three improve any team in the league.

eg. Gallagher. You can’t tell me that if we paid the transfer fee the chavs wanted and offered him £200k a week that he wouldn’t suddenly forget his allegiances to that club. He wouldn’t, he would join us. Same with Neto. Not that I was desperate for either but if you pay the money they come.

Some of us did not want Gallagher as he is Captain & lifelong supporter of one of our rivals. His public comments were hedid not want to leave Chelsea. Would Chelsea have sold him to us? I think it was the same as selling Kane to Chelsea. A no go.
Neto was highlighted as injury prone. Ange’s system takes a lot out of players and the last thing we needed was another injury prone player not available a lot of the time.
We got Solanke and some feel we overpaid. Eze.? Although during the Euro’s when he did come on I watched him hoping to see him do something outstanding but was disappointed as he tended to play it safe.
None of this is any excuse for yesterday’s result and we should have won comfortably on the run of play.

Come on are we really doing this?

If Ange Postecoglu needs just 4 players for his system to work then that's totally fraudulent and he shouldn't be in a job, no manager gets their first choices, not one.

Besides all that the media don't know shit anyway.

Is this the start of the manager blame game to make them look bad and build a defence for Danny boy.

Do you blame Levy for us not winning last night?

Levy’s job is surely to directly or indirectly (through a DoF, scouts, etc) provide the manager with a squad full of players that can win games. I’d say he did that last night. Position for position, we’ve got better players than Leicester. I’d be stunned if any of their players gets in our squad. We are much stronger than they are. Would you suggest that’s not the case?

Levy can get shit for many things, but us not getting three points against a much weaker team is not one of those things.

Isn't it also Levy's job to directly or indirectly employ a first team manager that can get those superior players to actually win such a match?

You can spend alot on transfers and still buy guff.

Problem with levy is he wont pay the wages of top players. So we never get anyone in their prime, or an experienced pro.

We never break the bank for the top players, and we never get the bargain older players on big money.

We are never in the market for a transformational player, nor do we sign the oldies like Thiago Silva.

We end up with a bunch of kids or 2nd rate mid 20's like we do now.
This is it. We dont pay the seriously big fees or wages for the real difference makers so overspend on alright prem players like Johnson, Richarlison and Solanke. Decent enough players in a club that is looking to finish 7th or 8th.

It's called bringing balance to the argument fella, this isn't an echo chamber ;)

Why do you think when your in a league with United’s, Chelsea’s, City’s, Liverpool’s, these players will come to us? We can’t play the game they play. People forget this, no matter how much money we throw about, the player actually has to want to choose us.
