Have Southgate? Where are these Spurs fans, I’m not seeing them. What’s worse is that there are Spurs fans who would rather that.
The odd loon on TFC or SC really doesn’t count.

Why not have a day off then?
Because to me, you’re beating the same drum to death. Have a breather and chill.
Why is finishing 5th bad?
We drew a football match last night.
I just don't get why after drawing a football match, everyone knows we should have won gets an over analysis of why Ange's football doesn't work? It clearly worked in the first half and parts of the second but unfortunately the players on the pitch didn't convert the chances. If they had have scored does Ange's football go from being unviable to the best in the league?
I don't buy into the poor run we had towards the end of the season, we had a tough run of fixtures that we lose most years and that wasn't going to change over night. It isnt just after this game though is it. It is after watching us for the last 5 months of last season and this preseason and seeing everything is the same and nothing has been worked on defensively as we are still as vulnerable as ever. Attacking wise, he hasnt got the players who are good enough.
Unless I've got your tone wrong, you're seemingly saying it is knee jerk, when it isnt that at all.
I would say I thought both set pieces attacking (lots more variation) and defending looked a lot better than previously. However, Everton wil be THE test of that.
Son doesn’t even appear to be being actively coached or encouraged to get to the end line, which should be his number 1 objective in this system.Getting the best out of Son isnt sticking him wide an isolating him, it's having him as close to goal as possible
Get your best players into their best positions
The stubbornness on this formation is crazy
Aye, scoring is pretty key to the system working.I don't disagree mate. I thought we were phenomenal the first 45 minutes.
And at times last season. When Angeball works it's magnificent. But you have to score.
Perfectly reasonable to be very concerned at potential to continue in this direction.

You don't need to step away mate. You have every right to voice your opinion, even if some of us think it misguided. Just put all of those who are getting you down on ignore or something. That's what the function is there for.Good point.
I’ll see you all after Everton.
If people want to make it draining and toxic to chat with other fans I guess the best thing to do is just step away,
you need serious pressure put on the ball by the players in midfield and up top for this system to have any chance. No matter how well we play we still concede and then so often we can't get back on track .We haven't a hope of really doing anything until this changes .

like you say. Context is key. And their were some awful, appalling displays in those defeats. Two of which were against our biggest rivals.and just for added context the defeats were Woolwich , Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man city, Fulham
it's like watching an episode of Ancient Aliens in this place sometimes, it's so one sided and manipulative![]()
That's still underwhelming and extremely concerning, as we've just drawn to a dogshit team that will likely go straight back down and some of those same teams we lost to are coming up next.that stat is wrong
if its the final 12 games of last season it was 6 defeats, with Villa being the extra forgotten about victory but i guess that ruins his point . 6L 5w 1d
if it's inc yesterday then it's still 6 defeats 4 wins & 2 draws
and just for added context the defeats were Woolwich , Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man city, Fulham

Looking tired an hour into the first game of the season due to the demands of the system! That augurs well!you need serious pressure put on the ball by the players in midfield and up top for this system to have any chance.
we had 9 men against chelsea but you saw the systems weakness when you dont have pressure on the ball, the other side will get in behind easily. this happened for vardy yesterday, the team looked tired and the intensity in front of the defence dropped off and they got in easily. he needs to make subs to get fresh legs out there earlier if he is going to have one way of playing!
lets see how long it takes against everton to inject some intensity back into midfield. everton are shockingly bad and should go down this year, if we cant destroy them then we are in trouble as thats back to back relegation candidates, we should be top after them two fixtures really.
thats who we areLooking tired an hour into the first game of the season due to the demands of the system! That augurs well!
no, they are negative nigels. give the bloke a chance. he tore up the J league and the Z league and all the other b rate leagues with this system. Those being realistic see trouble coming if they are not addressed.
Yea, but it was Leicester that is the point. If we go up against a stronger opponent, we will be destroyed like the end of last season...Obviously the system has been defensively poor last season, but in the Leicester match I didn't feel like we were open, outside of a few shots in a 15 minute window, one of which happened simply because a CB switched off, which isn't a system issue.
