Sterling would be a great signing tbf. But wages would be too much of an issue for us.

Plus he'd only make like six appearancesHe's on like 200k a week with 3 years left. Not worth it, let him be Chavs problem
According to the Mirror, I think, offered to Villa on loan.Sterling would be a great signing tbf. But wages would be too much of an issue for us.
We can disagree on which player but I think surely you'd agree with the fact we definitely need a more productive quality forward player.
We don't need to sell annually like Dortmund does. We are able to retain players more easily than they can, as we have shown on multiple occasions. But adopting the model of developing youth, we should. And selling occasionally (provided a player is agitating to go) and reinvesting we also should. It won't keep us from challenging.I hate to break it to you but the difference in revenue between Dortmund and Bayern (about £190m per annum — figures for Dortmund just published) is not much more than that between Spurs and City (£170m) —and Dortmund, playing in a weaker league, have all but guaranteed UCL income every year.
What makes it impossible to adopt the Dortmund model which currently makes sense for them is that there are other clubs between us and City and we could never mount any kind of challenge for a top four spot by selling annually.
FWIW, I think it’s a crying shame that Bayern have been able to pick off their rivals’ best players because of their financial muscle. Couldn’t have been happier to see them drop to third last year.
Might not be a bad idea if the price (and wages) are right. I guess his wages would be astronomical.
What does that even mean? As well as being human beings, these players are also assets with value, what do you want us to 'do with them' exactly? Freeze them out in the reserves until they are worthless? Have a fire sale and flog them all for half their value in the next week?
Well Werner is a loan so who gives a fuck. What does that even mean? As well as being human beings, these players are also assets with value, what do you want us to 'do with them' exactly? He seems to be able to beat a player and score the odd goal too though, not something our current wingers offer. (Odobert gets a pass cos we don’t know yet.)He’s also an incredibly frustrating player. Never passes at the right time. Would probably fit in then actually!
Just joined the thread and I don't know who you are talking about but is it Joan Thomas? From the insight (or is it incite?) I get from his posts here, I’d be surprised if he knew how to run a bath let alone a football club
At least I find some of the posts amusing.

Sigh... I don't think I can be bothered to debate with that extreme level of over-simplification and seemingly genuine total lack of understanding of what would be wrong with everything you have suggested there... Thank god you're not in charge of our club... Apologies for asking the question in the first place, that was stupid of me. Sigh...Well Werner is a loan so who gives a fuck.
Johnson needs to be flogged asap, there would be takers for him (Fulham etc.).
Son can be rotation for 1 more season.
EASY.

Why do people want sterling? He's on a massive decline, on giant wages and turning 30. His output at Chelsea has been worse than brennan Johnson who you all hate with a passion

We've just spent ages getting rid of all the cunts lol why would you bring one of the biggest ones to us and upset the wage structure?
