I agree: there are always two sides …

But

Brian Clough always maintained that if a Football Manager got sacked ( for not doing his job properly ) then the
Chairman who appointed him should resign, for exactly the same reason.

If JJ goes ; then whoever agreed to pay him ( give or take) 200 K a year for his expert insights on MOTD ; should also fall on their swords .

Paying him that much for what he did is a far greater crime than him sending an
“ innapropriate “ text message IMO .

Why not :

Let him stay , on a greatly reduced fee ( until they find someone better to do the gig ) and sack all those responsible for allowing him to be paid so much in the first place .

It’ll help keep the license fee down if nothing else .

The BBC ‘s loss may turn out to be
TalkShi&@“ ‘s gain : we’ll have to wait and see …
He got 2 salaries 1 for MOTd , other as main daily Host of the One Show

Fuck me, he's a complete fucking ball bag...look and listen to the utter fucking state of him.

For the slow amongst you, this is not why he got sacked.

Not Match of the Day
@NOT_MOTD
Not the official Twitter feed for MOTD. Parody. 18+.

Pissed or High?? :stupid: or a lickle bit 'o'both?

Not like he hasn't got THE COIN to afford either!

I reckon naughty texts to someone married/partnered, and he thought he'd get away with it...

It's 2024, not 1984! (not that they HAD mobile phones back then!)

BREAKING NEWSFuming Jermaine Jenas maintains there are 'two sides to every story' during awkward Talk Sport interview following BBC axing due to allegations he 'sent unsolicited texts to female member of staff on the One Show'

Jermaine Jenas has insisted there are 'two sides to every story' during an awkward Talk Sport interview after he was sacked from the BBC for inappropriate behaviour.
The TV host, 41, was fired this week, with the BBC confirming that Jenas is 'no longer part of our presenting line-up'.
A female member of staff claimed she received unsolicited communications via text from Jenas, The Sun first reported.
What exactly is an "unsolicited communication" and how are you supposed to solicit said communication? Do you contact Fiona Bruce beforehand asking her whether she'd take offence if you were to text her to advise her that you'd shag her shadow on a gravel driveway?

I was going to add ; I’ve never watched the One Show : I’m guessing he’s paid a ton load more for presenting that .

But , because I’ve never seen The One Show ; I wouldn’t want to say whether or not he is worth the ginormous amount he receives for his efforts in presenting it .

FWIW

My guess would be that he isn’t ; and my case against those agreeing to pay him that much would still stand .

But , again. and in fairness I’ve never watched JJ
« in action « on the One Show …so it would be unfair of me to comment about whether he represents value for money or not .

PS : My private opinion is that I would be surprised if that does represent vfm for the license fee payers .

You haven’t missed much not seeing the One Show!

Absolute shite especially when JJ was on!

I tend to assume it means not taking no for an answer..... Subsequently amounting to harassment.

I think to keep yourself right you need to first ask if they would take offence to you texting them asking for a fuck.

My old move from the early 00's of intense eye contact from across the bar while inserting the index finger of my right hand into the ring made with the index finger and thumb of my left hand with a Roger Moore-esque eyebrow raise would likely lead to arrest today.

I'm high and this is funny

I think my favourite Jenas commentary was the CL semi final after the last goal. Sounded like total disbelief and tears of joy, which I think we were all feeling.

On Lucas’ winner, his hat-trick goal to make it 3-2 on the night, 3-3 on aggregate…
Darren Fletcher: “JJ is speechless, absolutely speechless, and so is everyone else in the stadium.”
JJ: “I can’t believe it Fletch, it’s unbelievable. I’ve never seen anything like this. Oh my God.”

On the final whistle...
Darren Fletcher: “I’ve a co-commentator alongside me who wore the white shirt of Tottenham with pride for so long and I’ve never seen you as emotional as you are right now…”

Anyone isnt absolutely hostile towards us isn't allowed to have a media career. Whatever he has done it's a fact

A lot of other people working in the
Public Sector and elsewhere would agree with him in principle but have a very low opinion of hîm , as a person, for very many reasons..

« Working for the coin « …seriously I hope he doesn’t get the opportunity to that ever again.

He and his dependents are unlikely to go short and he gets to spend the rest of his life playing golf and reading books that interest him . All because he spent a few years “ working hard all week “
for “ the Coin “ .

He’s a lucky man .

I , for one , won’t miss him.
You can’t even get a massive paycheck for talking bollocks for 25 minutes any more. Country has gone to the dogs.
