‘As it stands, Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Ben Chilwell, Raheem Sterling, Trevoh Chalobah, Djordje Petrovic, Carney Chukwuemeka, David Datro Fofana, Armando Broja, Angelo Gabriel, Deivid Washington, Alex Matos, Harvey Vale and Lukas Bergstrom’

This is the lot Chavs have to move out. Chalobah is very good and a very odd player for Chavs to sell considering they are keeping a few donkeys at CB.

Chalobah would be such a smart pick up for us.

Toney
Neto - Felix - Palmer

Is a pretty damn good forward line. With Madueke/Jackson/Nkunku in rotation.

It may be fun to laugh at Chelsea but we've seen what can happen when they click with those 6 goals against Wolves.

They finished 3 points behind us last season. We will do well to better that this season.

Considering the points deduction coming there way, we'd have to pull off our worst season in well over a decade to not do better than that this season.

So why worry?

Absolutely it is. For all the shit we talk about the Chavs, that frontline is easily better than ours, with real depth too. Brennan Johnson, our starting right winger, is worse than every single player listed there. I’d take Madueke over Kulusevski as well at least on the wing, and obviously we know how good Neto is, we were all desperate to sign him.

Concerning times.

They have spent billions so you would expect on paper for them to be stronger than us. They have just spent poorly, they could have a Real Madrid level team had they spend the £1.2bn well which it roughly how much Chavs have spent so far under his tenure on players.

Felix is bang average. Has the odd moment and the does nothing. There is a reason why he's never stuck anywhere since arriving from Portugal.

I would have chosen Solanke over Toney. Still not sure what Nkunku is in the premier league. Palmer is class. Madueke I'd have taken but he's just as likely to end up on their bench in 2 games time. Jackson? talented but not a finisher.

On paper they have spent over a billion so of course it's stronger than us. It fucking should be. In practice we will have to see what goes down. They had a great result against an Wolves team who collapsed but looked the better side most of the game. Everyone expects them to eventually be amazing because of how much they spent. Personally I'll wait until we see who they really are before declaring my fear and admiration of them.

They're teenagers. It's not even morally appropriate for us to expect them to perform to the required level week in week out now.

1 or 2 IMO, each match. It gives everyone a break sometimes and it makes the opposition have to wait until kick off to see what they're up against.
Wholesale changes in knock out comps is dumb in and risky.
Morally appropriate??.......
We're putting them on a football pitch, not in a porn film.......

Sucking off other teams instead of our own seems to be the in thing to do right now, I guess.

Won't be long until West Ham having a better attack than us is brought up for the umpteenth time.

No Moyes in charge now either so watch out Tottnum.

Romelu Lukaku - £325k pw
Kepa Arrizabalaga - £150k pw
Ben Chilwell - £200k pw
Raheem Sterling, - £325 pw
Trevoh Chalobah - £50k pw
Djordje Petrovic - £25k pw
Carney Chukwuemeka - £100k pw
David Datro Fofana £30k pw
Armando Broja - £40k pw
Angelo Gabriel - £30k pw(??)
Deivid Washington - £40k pw
Alex Matos - £20k pw (??)
Harvey Vale - £20k pw (??)
Lukas Bergstrom - £20k pw(??)

TOTAL = £1,275,000m pw (£71,500,000m per year!) On players, they don't want anything to do with.

When did Spurs fans get like this?

Is it some fake humble thing that makes people want to big up their rivals?

Or they just hate the club that much that sucking off other teams feels good?

I get it for a club like Brighton or an underdog club but nothing could ever get me talking that way about chavski or the scum. Spammers neither. It goes against everything I know.

Sure but when we’ve spent £250m on attacking players since summer 2022, we can’t play that card. We spent all that to end up with Solanke, Johnson, Kulusevski, Richarlison, and Odobert after all that investment… not exactly a world class frontline.

It's just another way of hating the club you support. Which also seems to be the in thing. (across many fanbases tbf).

People seem to want that identity of criticising and moaning about every single thing about the club they like just so they can get an imaginary pat on the back as a way of curating their misery.

If we spent a billion and ended up with Toney and Neto as part of a front four, we'd all have every right to be fucking livid. As you rightfully know considering you said earlier in the window that both are "Redknapp type signings"

Even Felix is a bit shit.

Palmer is only shit that managed to stick to the wall.

STING IN THE TALE

Chelsea ‘launch stunning Ivan Toney transfer move’ with England striker running out of time to seal Brentford exit

SunSport revealed Brentford's new asking price for Toney last week

CHELSEA have made a stunning move to sign Ivan Toney, according to reports.
The England international appeared set for a move to Saudi Arabia with Al-Ahli.

However, according to Sky Sports, Chelsea have now made a late move to sign the Brentford forward.

The 28-year-old has not been included in Thomas Frank's squads for either of their first two league games of the season amid the transfer speculation.

It is suggested there is a good chance the deal will be successful, with Toney's transfer fee expected to be "reasonable".

Chelsea reportedly want Toney because they are after a proven No9 and due to his impressive goalscoring record at every level.
This is probably not true, but its kind of disturbing that a club with a 42 men squad, that made 11 transfers already this window still is buying. Hopefully the rules can handle their clear and blatant cheating and punish them the only way that they feel. Points reduction or moving them down a few divisions

Would think someone will pick up Harvey Vale
