We didn't solve key issues at LCB/LB, while I'm quite pessimistic about how our right wingers will perform this season... Odobert only got 3G 2A last season in the PL which shows he needs to develop significantly.

In reality it's an extremely poor transfer window in relation to the 24/25 season, while it may be a good one for the long term.

Backups aren't really key issues though, our issues was definitely our forward line and I personally wanted another winger to come in but 2/3 aint bad. I'm not too fussed about who it was more the profile fits which were needed which is why I was never high on Eze.

LB/LCB thing is disappointing though and would have liked a backup keeper, maybe we address that in Jan...

Well I was very happy with Bergvall and Gray , less so Werner and can’t make my mind up about Solanke , but will give him a chance . So the window was an 8 out of 10 for me based on with a couple of weeks to go we would get some experienced quality in . It‘s now a 6 at best for me , we never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity

Another window that has Levy's paw prints all over it. Don't buy the Ange line that we only buy players we want, if you pay the money they will come, but we never will under this administration.
Our young prospects look like decent acquisitions, Gray, Bergvall & Wilson. Solanke ticks a lot of boxes and the market for top quality strikers is really poor at the minute.
However, we are short all over the pitch. If Biss goes on holidays mid season again we are now reliant on kids and Bents if his form returns, major gamble either way.
If Vicarrio gets injured we are up sh1t creek.
If Udogie gets injured we are reliant on an aging Davies or Spence, will he behave, has he the defensive ability?
Richy is still here and injured yet again, should have been shipped out, needed to be more ruthless here.
We have improved our bench somewhat, but needed more additions of higher quality to really push/start, an Eze, Olise or top notch no.6.

I was thinking about this the other day and trying to work out which was worse. 2018 we sold nobody too of course, no it probably just shades it. The fact a club can go a whole transfer window and not to a single deal is amazing. It will never be repeated.

Hindsight is a blessing but I'd honestly go through a window and sign no-one then the shit we signed in 2019, that nonsense set the club back years.

So I guess what you're saying is that, as a club, we've taken risks.

Glad we've cleared that up then.
At last I get it , it’s all risk management. The hotel , property, concerts , NFL and go kart track are a hedge in case we are an unsuccessful team . City , Chelsea, Woolwich , Liverpool and United fans deep down are very unhappy with their all in on football glory over the last 25 years .

We hedged our failure , you’ll never sing that
