Match Newcastle Away 1.30pm Sunday Sept 1

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Newcastle won’t be signing Guehi now so they’re scrambling for disasi or chalobah from Chelsea. Eithe way deadline gone for our game so likely Kraft and Burn at CB tomo! We have to get at them, I want Deki central and Sonny wide. Burn will try bully Sonny if he’s central

Not really sure the team they put out matters all that much.

This was the team they put out at St James Park last season:

Dubravka
Murphy - Schar - Krafth - Burn
Longstaff - Bruno - Anderson
Barnes - Isak - Gordon
And we lost 4-0. Their team tomorrow will be better than that regardless.

We are going to need to be ridiculously lucky (or simply ruthless with every attack) to get the win on Sunday. Because they'll pick us off on the counter time and time again.

Ange confirmed that Bentancur is back and feeling really good so he starts in CM for me. Gives us a mix of both worlds between Kulusevski there and Sarr there.

He also gives us strength and aggression.
I think Newcastle will come out and be pretty physical. I can see Coco putting some of them in place with tough tackle/shouldering.

Also exactly my pick for the lineup.

Just one more reason to drop our lines a little bit.

If we push them to their box it means two things at the same time -
- we almost cannot run behind the line, because they are already defending in their own box
- while we have pressed them to their box, it means two strategical passes and their fast runners in Gordon and Isak can run behind our lines.

But I expect zero tactical adjustment and extremely difficult game.
Even tough looking at that defense, it should not be so difficult.
