Match Newcastle Away 1.30pm Sunday Sept 1

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think we should be doing that but as you say Ange doesn't see RCB and LCB he just sees CBs.

But if that's true he wouldn't care about playing them in the position that favours their strongest foot. So he says one thing and behaves in an opposing way.

Well, you'll see today.

If he behaves in the opposite way like you seem to think then you'll see Davies at LCB instead of Dragusin.

It must take some fucking amount of energy to be logged into here from first thing in the morning to whinge and have the most public cry-wank possible on a Sunday. JFC.

I was referring to when he plays VDV and Romero. He plays them in the positions that favours their strongest foot. But as you said he talks about not seeing RCB and LCB.

So something doesn't add up.

No idea mate. I've never sat down and asked him.

They're his words, not mine.

Considering by most reports that Tapsoba was the number one choice (and he's right footed), I believe him.

And considering he prefers Dragusin to Davies, I am also inclined to believe him.

VDV was rubbish last year at Newcastle - we have three starting quality CB’s and therefore should consider our position a strong one.

Radu will be well up for this.

Yeah I wasn't attributing those words to you, it's just that when he plays both Romero and VDV in their proper positions every time they play together, it seems to contradict his actual words on the matter.

I'm just pointing that out, anyway this discussion is over now there's no point repeating ourselves.

If Postecoglou thinks its his way with patta cake midfielders, high lines and nothing that talks compromise, then he will be gone by the end of the season.

No way we are going to compete against the top 7 other teams

Today is like so many away games of recent times- easy to predict the likely outcome, performance and fallout.

I'm not really sure how it's a contradiction.

Romero was here first. Hes played on the right everywhere he's been. Ange deemed him the perfect profile to play that side.

He needed a partner and we happened to find him one that's left footed, but that wasnt the criteria needed to be his partner.

But yeah, let's move on. Absolutely pointless debate.
