There will never be any success until Levy goes. That’s the cold hard facts

After 25 years of woeful underinvestment vs peers, we signed a few kids from Leeds, Burnley, Sweden and Solanke. Let’s be honest - Pep wouldn’t turn these speculative gambles into a top 4 side
Levy himself said that, the stadium was the game changer and would allow us to compete on the sporting front.
And yet, this summer they have once again taken punts on youngsters (who might well turn out to be good) but nevertheless they are punts.
And to continue with the game changer, the club has reduced the wage bill right down.
I think once again the fanbase has been lied to, by the most sporting glory risk adverse chairman around.

I’m skeptical of Ange but he gets until the end of the year. As other have pointed out - there no one else is out there so -

Don’t Chavs still owe Potter a lot money which he’d have to give up if he took another job? - assuming that why he’s kicked up his heels since leaving the Blue Scum.

Daniel Levy will make him our next manager
so we dont have to pay to terminate his contract( look at the pic, its clearly a M = Manager)

I think Levy would go for Tuchel. It all ends the same no matter who he hires though lol
It does end the same, but after Conte and Mourinho both both stained their reputation and surrendered their previously unblemished 100% trophy records working for Levy, I honestly think he'd struggle to attract a big name to take the job in the future...It'll be a young up and coming guy who'll take the opportunity to milk the limelight of a so called glamour club. Maybe someone with club links too to keep the fanbase / customers onside?
My money would be on Scott Parker

If we win both does that mean it’s an inactive question?

Btw what makes a question active? Does it need to excercise 3 times a week?

Win both - great. Bloke can be idle for a while.

I think today is a game we must not lose. If we do you start to see the likely becoming inevitable.

Postecoglou has to find a way to make us competitive in my opinion or else.

Too many of our games are predictably on the negative side.

Predictably on the negative side.

What does that mean?

Also,

“Bloke can be idle for a while”

Err what?

Now you are being silly. Scott Parker.

Plenty of top names would take the job. The question or the challenge is making us competitive in my opinion.

City are on a level that makes realisable ambition a hard hard if not impossible metric. Even at our best of 6/7 years ago we would have only been a lot closer but not better. Competitive - 100%.

If not Postecoglou, then the first criterion for me would be a manager who works within what are wide parameters but who improves the sum of the parts.

It's the start of the season - so maybe unfair to be too critical, but the issue is the post-Christmas consideration. Not been good enough, and so we needed 6 to 9 points before today to give Postecoglou a buffer. 4 points is a below average return, given who we have played.

I think quality managers do something with this squad, albeit that we are absolutely short of a quality defensive midfielder. Nod oubt at all.
