Match Coventry City v Tottenham Hotspur | Carabao Cup 3rd Round | Sept 18th | 8pm

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That last goal came when Coventry was pushing forward. Our wingers are really better suited to counter attack football so one adjustment Ange could make is to try to sometimes draw the defense forward instead of just getting into our predictable patterns when the defense is sitting back.

Also both goals came through the middle, not the wing. We need to try that more especially when Dom is in.

So many angry, bitter posters on here using this win to somehow attack posters who have reservations about our manager.

Just chill the fuck out, relax and enjoy our great escape like the rest of us for fuck sake

What a steal. This team needs a crisis meeting like happened under Poch in 2014. Decide what they want to be and thrash it out because they have lost all the joy and energy and dare that made us so fun to watch first half of last year.
Well it’s written in the stars. I can remember Fergie was one game away from the sack and ironically I think it was Mark Robins who came up with the winning goal in an FA Cup tie for United which saved him his job. This is Ange’s Fergie moment as Johnson may have saved his arse. Now like Utd, Spurs are going to kick on and dominate football for the next 20 years!

:ange-lol:

My single positive, apart from the late goals, was that I thought Spence looked ok. Not entirely sure what position he was playing or what he had been told to do, but he looked aggressive and attacking. Tried to move the ball quickly. Took responsibility for attacks.

He looked ok.

Redknapp is right Ange did take liberties with his team selection. Strange for someone desperate for a win and after what happened at Fulham last season.

The drop off from Romero/VDV to Drag/Davies is too big. We can't get any play going.

Without Kulu and Madders in the side we have no way to threaten.

We know our wingers are shit but there's nothing we can do except hope we don't see Werner again.

With Odobert out we are very thin. Moore needs to get a shot. Werner, Johnson, Son are not good enough (good finish from BJ but he was utter gash for 94 mins, it's not sustainable).

Ange is still in big trouble. Alarm bells would have been ringing for Levy tonight.

And who exactly do you propose we get to replace him? How many managers do we have to chop and change before fans like yourself realize that doesn't work?

Cool, then we should keep the fat, useless, boomerang chucking cunt forever then. Let's give Ange a lifetime contract even if things get even worse, because apparently replacing a clearly shit manager is bad for some reason.

Great idea

Fucking hell, we literally have neighbours down the road who were dogshite for several seasons under their current manager, but they stuck with him, now they've been challenging for the title the last couple of season.

Who gives a single solitary fuck how those Gooner cunts are doing? I'd rather shit in my hands and clap than hear another Spurs fan wank themselves off about that Lego haired cunt.
