Levy you can still sack him
This is what I’d like explained to me. There’s many on here that “know for a fact” Levy doesn’t care about winning, especially the cups and especially this one. So why would he sack a manager, who he’d have to pay millions to, for being knocked out of a cup he doesn’t care about winning?

We all know the stadium will be full every fortnight unless we are seriously in relegation trouble, so why would Ange be in any danger at all right now?

Lucked out tonight. Any decent team would of put us to bed. Hasn't got a fucking clue and looked like he didn't really give a fuck. Let's see how he is when he's up against pep and city seems to be all he cares about.

In the past Levy has sacked when the performances have badly slacked in the league or in a few cases like Ramos, Santini we looked like we might end up in a relegation scrap. Cups are irrelevant, he even sacked Jose a few days before an actual cup final.

I haven't felt like tonight for any of the performances so far this season.

Tonight was the outlier for me. For 80 mins at least. And that's exactly what I mean about separating performances and results.

People say I'm not honest and I'm delusional but I just say what I see and that was fucking so bad I thought it was match-fixing for 80 mins. We got the result and we got it from players that Ange actually deserves some credit for as well but I know I won't get that kind of balance from most people in here tonight.

I will meet you halfway with Ange and say that he never recovered consistent good performances after the Chelsea game last year and there were some genuinely shit performances, even when players started to return from injuries. I just haven't seen performances like that so far this season... Until that 80 mins just there. We have played so much better than that and lost this year and last year.
I agree, we have played better this season than what I have seen tonight, no doubt about that mate. The issue I have is that the apparent flaws in his system have been apparent in ALL of our games this season and frankly, since after the Chelsea game last year.

It's the fact it's a consistent pattern of the same failures that makes me concerned.

It's not that I think you're dishonest mate, I just think you're concerned about what happens if we sack him, deep down I think that's a concern for all of us but I also don't want us to waste an entire season and the possibility of winning something on a manager that is, imo, out of his depth.

His decision to leave Spence out of the EL squad looks more and more ridiculous with each passing moment.

He got saved by Spence today, because he looked like a man defeated. I can't see him making it to Christmas.

Spence actually reflects the words or Ange of wanting brave players, he really is a brave player, your right big error to leave him out of the EL squad. Very talented.

I don't agree.

The issues we have had this season were offensive execution, the system has been motoring along but the players haven't been able to take advantage of it.

Lat year we had issues with counter attacks and set pieces. Tonight was the first time we have looked vulnerable on the counter for a whole game.

Commiserations to the gooners and brow beaters who tuned in for the final whistle.

C’mon. Really?

The ‘system’ is one dimensional and flawed. One dimensional because it’s all about inverting FB’s who invariably clog up the MF. Flawed because any coach with a badge knows how to nullify it.

We were countered when Vardy scored. Countered at Newcastle for their winner. Countered by Woolwich which led to their set piece. Countered time and again tonight.

Ange looks and sounds bereft of ideas and inspiration. I think even he knows he’s been rumbled.

I don’t think this is the hill to die on RA. Part of me respects your stance and maybe you are displaying loyalty and patience but I, like the majority on here and at WHL, think the manager is toast - next week, next month. Only a matter of time

Yeah don't agree with a single word of that.

There is no majority either mate.

There is absolutely no way his system will work at Spurs. It is plain to see. The players have no confidence in it, they don't know what to do. We look so forced and slow. If Coventry had a bit of quality we'd have lost tonight by 5. We were cut open time and again.

I don't like his personality any longer. His demanour on the toucline, he looks so awkward. I like a manager who is more animated. Ange even looks awkward with the players, coaches and backroom staff.

His press conferences are full of waffle.

Have never been so sure about anything after tonight. He's gone, So out of his depth. Just a matter of time now. Just get rid Levy, you fuck.

The general consensus is that Levy expects European football of some description.

Ange will only get the boot if we're still in the bottom half of the table around January. Levy will figure that a new manager boost could see us nab seventh or eighth.

At this point we should be clicking at least when we attack, as he already said he doesn't care about defense, but we are tottaly uninspiring going forward, it doesn't even seems like this playeres are training together. We are so predictable going forward, we can't put a throgh ball or a cross in the right place, make one-two's or create decent chances, everyone seems lost, the player are never feeling the space they should, sometimes we have two or three player occupying the same space. I have zero enthusiasm watching us play, and also his choices are mostly wrong when it comes to select the team and make substitutions. Today's starting line-up was a total mess.

you could apply everything you’ve said to our last 3 managers - were they out of their depth? Just a lazy view. What does it mean? is any manager that goes through a tough spell out of their depth?
