You're daft if you really think Klopp is going to say openly that he didn't care that much about winning that cup. His priorities were always the EPL and the CL, then the FA cup and last the League cup.
Ten Haag and Man Utd are desperate to win anything but still the EPL and CL are their main priorities. Under Fergie they couldn't care less about the cup and that set a precedence.
When Jose managed Chelski he also fielded a second string team - until semis and the final.
Anyway, if you rather have Spurs win the Carabao cup and qualify for the European League over qualifying for the CL, and that you think all the big clubs will everything they can to win that cup, well, feel free to do so.

There being a scale of prestige across the 4 trophies doesn't mean and manager, player (or a fanbase) doesn't care about a trophy they're competing for..... Highly competitive pros want to win; period.

Big teams with big expensive squads get rotated cos they can afford to and their calendars dictate it.
Again; prioritising a bigger comp doesn't establish that they didn't care about winning the LCup.

We can win if we actually show up and take it serious. We know from the past handful of seasons that City is very beatable.
We might not beat City now, but that is more likely than if we have to play them in a semi-final or final. It's a shame that Liverpool and Woolwich didn't get each other though.
