I think 5 trophies is the min , lesser trophies as our title winning record is poor. That would be one trophy every 5 years , which I think is more than reasonable to expect as a fan .
We hate ENIC in here. This is a safe space for hating those vile, evil, subhuman cunts and wishing nothing but ill on them.

So long as that venting is aimed at ENIC/levy and not insulting posters who don’t have as strong an opinion on them as he does, then that’s fine.

Actually it’s a thread for people to discuss ENIC/Levy. It’s not a dedicated hate thread, but feel free to start one if you only want to be surrounded by posters who share your opinion.

Guess it depends on if they're a policeman or not, doesn't it! Plenty of people on here like to play with their batons but it doesn't make them cops.
So anything other than the league is a minor trophy? So Spurs have only won 2 "real" trophies, 63 years ago and 73 years ago - but Levy is shite for not having won one?

What you are right about is 1 trophy this year doesn't balance the scales, we need to win ±3 trophies a decade. That puts us on par with the best eras in club history.
But if we could pull off a LC/FA Cup + EL double this year it would be the finest season for the club in 63 years, that's inarguable.

Sadly, we've been on the doorstep of enough trophies to have at least gotten close to satisfying this number. We've lost 4 straight cup finals (3 LC and the CL) and bottled the league twice.

Based on our post war History up to the ENIC era I would expect at least one major European trophy as a minimum, (maybe 2 considering they're now much easier to qualify for than when we won our previous two. Even West Ham won one
)Around 4 domestic trophies including at least a couple of FA Cups, ....and probably one league title is reasonable in 25 years of ENIC considering we one two league titles in the 50 year period preceeding them.
Edit: And let's never forget, we are now a much wealthier club than we were in the 20th century. As one of only a handful of Premier league ever presents, we've fattened ourselves from the trough more than most. So expectations should really be much higher than when the money was much more evenly distributed around the clubs.

Some people are way too defensive when it comes to Levy and ENIC.
Until we start regularly winning trophies, they'll continue to receive criticism. Harsh? Not really especially considering Spurs fans pay elite prices but are continuously asked to accept a second-rate team.
