The ‘fanboy’ term is so childish and pathetic. Whether it be Ange/Levy/Son/brennan etc

We’re all spurs fans and want what’s best for spurs and for spurs to win and be successful

I get very irritated when accuse others of being a fan of a ‘business’ or a ‘spreadsheet’ etc

Childish nonsense
so what do you call these people that follow around individuals from club to club?

What’s the alternative? Southgate, Moyes, Potter.
I agree that the current available alternatives are dreadful but not sure 'well the other options are shit' is exactly a vote of confidence in what he's doing and shouldnt be seen as a get out of jail free card. That doesnt mean sack him now but if we lost to West Ham i think we're in the area of having that conversation. (For what its worth i think we'll beat them)

Staring down the barrel - good lord we are 7 games in - enough with the drama go listen to some My Chemical Romance in a dark room and put all that angst into something worthwhile.

It’s not about seven games. It’s about everything we’ve displayed so far as a team. If you look at it and genuinely think you see a side who will end this season with a trophy, good for you.

We are already out of any even outsider hopes to push for a title seven games in. We already know we won’t be top three. We already know top 4 is looking even harder last season. And we know we haven’t improved at all against teams of real quality.

Sorry if all of that is too depressing for you, but as usual come the final whistle of the final game of the season, all of this will be true and we will be revisiting this.

theres been a lot of australians sign up since he was appointed boss, theres koreans on here that only post in the son thread. these people couldnt give a fuck about spurs and will be gone once they have gone. fanboys!
Ok maybe that’s fair. It’s more Brennan scores a goal and all of a sudden people who praise him are Brennan ‘fanboys’ or if you don’t hate levy with Al your being you’re a ‘spreadsheet fanboy’ that kinda thing. We’re just spurs fans

Perhaps, but there is an absolute fuck tonne of football to be played between now and then and I'm not seeing enough reason to throw in the towel just yet. After the int break we have a ridiculous amount of football to be playing and i think that run of 7 games will show us really where we are at and what we can expect from the season as a whole.

Going from Ange to Tuchel would be hilarious. Complete opposite issues. Tuchel is miles ahead as a tactician and miles more adaptable but really bad at building a harmonious dressing room and getting on with the board. Areas Ange has excelled in to be fair to him.

We would have a decent chance at a cup under Tuchel though. We’d probably go back to a five back.

He tries too hard to maintain this sort of late 90s tough guy routine. I don’t actually think he believes any of the stuff he’s saying - he obviously worries about set pieces and substitutions. He wouldn’t be where he is without that level of care.

But I’m getting really bored of the tough guy act. Staring people down and just saying dumb shit to be confrontational.

He’s morphing into an Australian cricketer.
He's an interesting one. One thing I've noticed from watching a lot of football is that at some point in almost every game an assistant comes over to talk to the manager. Sometimes they look at video on a tablet and talk about what they are seeing. But I don't recall anyone coming near Postecoglou during matches. He's a self-contained unit. The press conferences also can be interesting. Often he is rubbing his face or appears to be bored. In fairness, those events are probably boring for any coach. Sometimes you get eye contact, sometimes he's looking away. Just a real interesting fellow. Again, not saying these things critically because there are plenty of managers who are performers of a sort. Mourinho was often playing with the press. They knew, he knew, but most of the time it was entertaining.
