I’ll be in the Balearics so will miss this most likely.

Big game, get 3 wins to start the league phase and we’ll be comfortable.

Vicario
Gray - Romero - Dragusin - Udogie
Bentancur
Bergvall - Maddison
Johnson - Solanke - Son

Probably in a minority here but I wouldn't mind if he played the exact opposite team he is playing against Palace.

More likely a similar level team that beat Ferencvaros away, so we also keep a strong team available for Crystal Palace away next weekend.

Vicario, Porro, Gray, Romero (c), Davies, Bergvall (Maddison 65), Bissouma, Sarr (Solanke 82), Werner (Johnson 65), Lankshear (Kulusevski 65), Moore.
Substitutes (not used): Forster, Austin, Bentancur, van de Ven, Dorrington, Cassanova, Ajayi.

Would not surprise me to see Lankshear start as striker again with Moore at right wing, and possibly Richarlison starting at LW. .

A few big guns on bench to come on after say 60 mins if necessary, so they are also ready to start next weekend.

Same 20 as today but a lot of those on the bench or did not play 90 mins starting. However I think Davies might get in the squad for one of the CB's possibly Romero.
Vic,
Porro, Dragusin, VDV, Gray
Bentancur, Sarr, Madison
Moore, Richie, Werner

Subs Forster, Davies, Udobie, Biss, Bergvale, kula, Johnson, Solanke, Son

Bit weak up front but if the big guns need to come on then Ange must not leave it too late.
We need the 3 points as there are harder matches to come. Only Vic, Porro & VDV played 90 mins today

AZ had a good start to the season, but with yesterdays result have lost four on the bounce, given the run of Palace, City, and Villa in 7 days next week (all 3 really important matches) think it makes sense to rotate pretty significantly and keep Son, Solanke, VDV fresh

Vicario
Gray Dragusin Davies Udogie
Bentancur Sarr
Maddison
Johnson Richy Moore

Think Spence deserves a shout in the league against palace, enables udogie to play 90 here

Werners confidence has dropped to the point that he miscontrols the ball off the pitch, its okay to try and play him into form when hes getting into good postions but the cameo yesterday showed a player not capable of contributing atm

Probably weak defensively but beating palace is an absolute must, we will play our best team against city and then we face realistic top four rivals villa just 4 days later. A full rest for porro, vdv and romero would be incredible

Take all the big players and one or two 21s on the bench

Betting Troy Parrot at 4/1 first goalscorer lol

Another EL home game should mean another 3 points. Win this and well be very well set to qualify, especially considering we have to go away to Galatasary and Rangers. That said, I'd rest Solanke, Johnson, and Kulusevski - all three have a lot of miles in their legs already and could do with a rest to keep them fresh. I'd start Son, Moore and Richarlison up top, but only play Son and Richy for 60 mins max. Midfield would be Sarr, Maddison and Bentancur as all three only played 45 mins or less at the weekend.

Vicario
Gray Dragusin VDV Davies
Bentancur
Sarr Maddison
Moore Richarlison Son

Subs: Forster, Porro, Romero, Udogie, Bissouma, Kulusevski, Bergvall, Wenger, Solanke, Johnson
