Match Premier League - Home to Aston Villa - 03/11 - 2pm KO

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Just about got over Wednesday's game and now another important fixture to contend with. They're coming at us thick and fast.
How ever we are set up, I just want to see the good stuff we are capable of producing, and cut out the silly mistakes that we are prone to make that inevitably lead to the opposition scoring. Having said that, it doesn't bother me if we let in 3 - as long as we score 4!
Rocket Rocket (and anyone else who wants to say 'hi') - now meeting at Shelf Bar, the other side of the brick wall. :)

If we can bring the same application and intensity to this game that we brought mid-week, we should win this one.

A win here, combined with our Carabao and Europa form, can set us up for a decent run. With Woolwich and Citeh losing today, This could be a very satisfying weekend.

I'm ever the optimist!

Why? He was allowed one first team player (signing). We are clearly in cost cutting mode so he deserves another year if we finish 8th upwards with lightweight, inexperienced and underpaid squad
Nonsense. We've spent £350M net on players since hiring Ange.

Last season was abysmal, worse than any in recent memory. If he does it again, he'll officially be the worst manager since Ramos.

We’ve also reduced our wage bill though. Like very notably. This summer we spent money but on a lot of kids.

That said I think he’s been backed to a reasonable degree. Stuff like not getting him another left back and signing Odobert instead of a mature, ready to go wide player who can score 12+ a season though…

I don't know why we're giving Villa so much respect. We could and should have finished above them for the last two seasons. They're not Man City. They're not Liverpool. They're not Real Madrid. They are completely beatable opposition.

We need to lose the inferiority complex.

Nuno, Iraola and Howe all taking scalps today! Very interesting indeed.

We should be able to beat Villa but it's going to be a very tough match.

I'm eager to see Son return, Werner to push on from his good performance, and Moore to get some minutes late to run at a tired defense.

Interested to see what Ange does in CM- Kulu has played a lot of minutes lately. Is Sarr ready for back to back starts? I expect Maddison to start after being rested in the past match. Bissouma likely too. Who is the third?

I'd say that depends a lot on where AV finish.

I'd suggest 3rd thru 7th/8th is gonna be one hell of a dog fight this season......
I'd like to think that we would want a new manager if we weren't able to at least equal 5th like last season.

I guess I'd take 7th and a small cup, but I really believe we should be challenging top 4 in the Prem with our resources and recent history. We should be aiming to WIN all our home matches against our rivals.

If any coach can't help us to achieve that why wouldn't we want to be looking for someone that could?

Son Dom Johnson
Sarr Kulu
Biss
Spence Davies Radu Porro
Vic
Changed my mind:

Son Dom Johnson
Sarr Madd
Biss
Spence Davies Radu Porro
Vic

Kulu gets a rest with some minutes for Maddison around 60-70'. More defense in CM to help compensate for Mickeys absence and Davies lack of pace. Werner on for Son around 70' and Richarlison on for Dom around 75'.

What a bunch of shit.

We finished 5th last season while selling our best player and trying to rebuild the squad.

We finished 8th the previous season. We finished 7th 2 years before that.

You must have a very short memory. Might want to get that checked out.
