Look at any heatmap of Solanke at Bournemouth and you can see where he scores the most goals.
He did this today.
The various TV commentaries were insane. I watched on three streams, first Sky, then a US one, then BeIng.
They all seemed gutted that we'd comprehensively put Villa to the sword. That penis Richard Keys even managed to call us "Spursy"
And it suits our attackers so well. All of them aside from maybe Dejan and Maddison have the legs and speed to run in behind once we win the ball. At least two of our goals came about this way today. The really encouraging thing today was that we were pressing in the middle of the pitch as opposed to recklessly high, especially in the second half.
Much more balanced. And drew Villa out.

Good!Madders seemed pissed off with Ange there. His body language was obvious
Grab another prem win next week and I’m feeling amazing about Angeball again.
Son in some ways is reminding me of the Bale that came back on loan.. Bale came back and it was soon clear (when he was allowed on the pitch), that he wasn't quite the perfect athletic machine that left us for Madrid. However, his technique was more refined, and in that last couple of months, he was absolutely beautiful to watch and was our main creative force.
There is still a place for Son in this team for the next couple of years. However, a space needs to be carved out for him to maximise the strengths of a 30 odd year old Son. I feel the role he's being asked to play a lot of the time, is that of a younger man.
That ball was one of his best left footed crosses ever, had to be. I can’t remember him doing that in that way before really. His assist for BJ goal was sheer class
Completely fucked up their defence
I do agree that we looked more comfortable at set pieces but we weren't really uncomfortable (other than set pieces) in the first half. And do get up to date with Romero and the 'red card in waiting' tag - he's got 1 yellow card this season and got 7 last season. Hardly the stats of a butcher!Am I alone in thinking we looked more comfortable when Romero went off? Romero sadly is a constant red card risk with his aggressive challenges.
He has two red cards in 90+ games, the risk is overstatedAm I alone in thinking we looked more comfortable when Romero went off? Romero sadly is a constant red card risk with his aggressive challenges.
