Just wanted to quickly say how brilliant was that! Now gonna have a singsong and a couple of vodkas in the Shelf Bar to celebrate

Reduced minutes will be net good for Son at this point in his career and I’m glad to see Ange finally seems to have gotten the message. Was watching the Liverpool game yesterday, mo Salah nearly the exact same age as son. But he still looks tremendous all round .
I just think son has been run into the ground a bit, more for country than club . Think Ange was excellent taking him off early
i dunno- it looked an awful lot like he checked himself out today because he was afraid of the second yellow…
Don’t forget Deki in there!Special mention to big Dom. Nobody works as hard as he does for us. Man's an absolute machine. It's the intelligence too, his reading of the game is top level.
That Sarr kid too. Not always tidy with the ball at his feet but man he covers some serious ground.
Gimme a first 11 full of Doms & Papes, we'd be top.
That ball was one of his best left footed crosses ever, had to be. I can’t remember him doing that in that way before really.
You do you.
New here, eh?Do you have a "post match" thread routine here for a more reasoned and thoughtful discussions after matches? (I'm new).

Aston Villa captain John McGinn: "We've got to keep our heads a wee bit in there and have some perspective. Many teams will come here and suffer that defeat.
"It got loud. Probably as loud as I've heard it as an away player.
"It's about staying positive. Spurs beat us 4-1 last season and we finished above them.
"They punished our mistakes. We had a chance at 2-1 to equalise. The third one was a mistake and then a great free-kick from the fourth."
I assume he's referring to the crowd. I wasn't at the game and had muted the volume while watching at home.
Were we (the fans) as loud as he's saying?

He had strapping on his toe and he clearly got a knock on the same toe.i dunno- it looked an awful lot like he checked himself out today because he was afraid of the second yellow…
I’m glad we didn’t shrink for the entirety of the injury time, dug in and took it back to them rather than camp in our own box.Well that was a tough game and thoroughly deserved win in the end.
A really good 3 points that.
COYS!
I like our other CBs just fine is all.He had strapping on his toe and he clearly got a knock on the same toe.
That's fine, my comment was on the red card risk.
