They have had a free week while we have obviously been to turkey, so expect them to come out gamely

We tend to start slow but expect us to overpower them in the end. Solanke to continue his good scoring run.

Probably

But Davies in if Romero decides his toe has not recovered, and if Spence has recovered, wouldn't be a bad idea to start him in place of Porro who played in Turkey.

Bench : Forster, Spence/Porro ?, (Davies if Romero plays), Dorrington, Gray, Bissouma, Bergvall, Maddison, Lankshear ..... might be room for one or two other youngsters if Spence and/or Romero are not available
It’s not Romero who decides if his toe is still a problem, it’s Lionel Scalloni.

Chris Sutton...

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, 14:00

I got a lot of stick for saying I supported Nottingham Forest last week - as well as a few of the clubs that I played for; Norwich, Blackburn and Celtic - and regular 5 live listeners will know that I have been accused of having Tottenham as another one of my teams.

They aren't, but I make no apologies for being a fan of Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou and his style of expansive football. At times it is crazy, with the risks they take, but I love watching it.

My Canaries connection means no-one is going to ever mistake me for an Ipswich fan, so this may shock a few people, but I felt sorry for them last week.

They have briefly come out of Norwich's shadow to reach the Premier League and are desperate for their first win of the season, but they were on the wrong end of a couple of shocking late decisions in their draw with Leicester.

They have the advantage of not having European football this week - they have not had to worry about that for more than 20 years - while Tottenham play Galatasaray in Turkey on Thursday.

I still think Spurs will win, though, and Ipswich will be back in the Championship with Norwich next season.

Sutton's prediction: 3-1
Hahah he’s a proper c unt

I've got a stinker of a cold, will have to dose myself to attend.Hope it's worth it.

Vic
Porro - Romero - Drag - Udogie
Bentancur
Kulu - Sarr
Johnson - Solanke - Son
Team picks itself at this point.
Think you've pretty much got it there old bean. Just hoping Romero is available. But even with Davies in his place we've surely got far too much at home to a De Facto championship side who were in League one just 18 months ago.

Finally a cleansheet.

5-0 To the mighty Tottenham Hotspur :coys:

I've got a long, long 7 hour drive up to Bonnie Scotland tomorrow afternoon / evening 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

SpiderSpurs SpiderSpurs , do your job a list the listening options for me please.

Thanks in advance

Both Cam Burgess and Massimo have been great Aussie players for Town, but neither should really even be on the bench. But injury to our excellent left centre back Jacob Greaves mean Burgess will start again - and he’s actually acclimatising to the Premier League well.

Luongo is a great guy and a nice player, but is rather slow and some way off the first team - but with Phillips suspended and Taylor injured he’ll be on the bench and may replace our excellent Napoli Swede Cajuste in central midfield.

I know you also have injuries but any Town result would be incredible given Phillips, Ogbene, Greaves and Tuanzebe are out.

But McKenna and the Tractor Boys will come out fighting. COYB!

Looking at the results of Tottenham's last five games, it would be consistent to lose against Ipswich Town.

But because I have looked at the league table, I don't think THFC will be "consistent" in this match.

I don't know how Tottenham fans like or dislike fans Ipswich Town fans, but I think Tottenham will celebrate a clear victory and Ipswich will have to fight for their much-needed points elsewhere.

Thoughts on Muric?

I remember him being absolutely terrible on the ball. And think we may get alot of joy pressing him.
