He's proved himself a good manager at a lower level. I'm far from convinced he's gonna really push on and land a top job though. Something about him that tells me he ain't got what's needed to handle the big ego's at the top end of the game.

Just had a peek at the Tractor Boys forum. They seem like a decent bunch. A few who know well enough that Spurs can either decimate opponents or not turn up, but tend to do well at home. So they're settling back for a beating.
Ipswich can score. I'm comfortable that we'll win but I'm not expecting to see us keep a clean sheet.

I think they learned that lesson with Potter
A clean sheet has to arrive sooner or later though. And Ipswich at home is a good opportunity to start.
Hopefully once we get one they'll be like London buses.

Good manager, yes, but we are at home, in good form, and as long as we approach the game confidently (but not arrogantly), we should expect a victory.
Anything less would be fcuking annoying.
You have to expect 3 points tomorrow, although spurs tend to do poorly in games before international break from memory.

Win the possession stats and most importantly CONTROL the game and the points will be immaterial
I'll gladly take them if they come our way but they won't be and shouldn't be one of our main motivators
Sometimes it seems that, the team needs to go behind to motivate themselves.
In any case, this should be a home win they don’t come much easier.
Yet, Ipswich haven't won a game this season. So much for stats.
I constantly say on here, (especially during our games when people are going mad when we're a goal down, or playing shit after 10 or 15 minutes) a football match lasts 90 minutes and invariably there will be ups downs, save your hysterics until the game is finished.
