Can anyone explain to me what exactly Ange got wrong today?
I thought he picked the right team. I thought bringing Werner on before Maddison was strange but werner actually did alot more than maddison so he arguably got that decision correct. He brought on Biss and Maddison at 1-2 so he did make changes but had no real impact. There was nobody else on the bench you could say should have come on.
We dominated the game, gave up 2 stupid goals, and were unlucky not to score more than just 1.
Its a pathetic result. Its been a topsy turvy season. I think some players need to take a hard look at themselves! But I haven't seen us played off the park all season so not sure how you can pin all this on the manager. Seems like lazy analysis but happy to be corrected if someone can give me a reason why this is all Ange's fault.
Bournemouth have conceded more than we have this year.I've seen enough of Mckenna to say that I think he's already a better coach than Postecoglou.
I also think Andoni Iraola down at Bournemouth has shown that he can play a style that Spurs would love, and also concede far less than this Tottenham team.
There's others out there too, so when I hear people say who can we get to replace him? Well there's a couple there.
I'd take either tomorrow. I'd actually probably rather Mckenna and not based on today. Utd have shown with Amorim if you have the intent you can prise someone out of a job mid season and neither of the afforementioned are top of the bloody champions league table, or cost £10m.I've seen enough of Mckenna to say that I think he's already a better coach than Postecoglou.

Levy & enic hold us back with their opposite priorities to us fans. & ange like all managers is very restricted by them but still should be doing better especially when the league is open & weak. But if you blame ange then you blame levy for another managerial appointment failure!25 yrs one trophy, multiple managers, yes the one constant factor is Levy and every manager will be hamstrung by him, but Ange should still be getting more from this lot.
never ever
Maybe so, but look at their players compared to ours. We have 40 - 50 million pound defenders. You can't tell me they aren't better than Bournemouth's back line. Which then tells me it's the system, formation and tactics that are wrong.
We will not win any cups with these naive tactics.Fully Ange out now but as a practical matter I’d keep him in the job because we’re going well in the cups.
Where do we even go from here? We're so open on every transition that it must be a pleasure to play Dr Tottenham. The players look like they've given up and don't trust this kamikaze approach. Every set play whether in our box or theirs is a shambles. He's like a fucking mute on the sidelines, a shake of the head constitutes in game coaching. I don't want another manager and then another two year transition but he looks to be way out of his depth.
I think Ange checked out after the City game last season...Can’t sugar coat it anymore. Ange and Conte are cut from the same cloth when it comes to being stubborn with their tactics.
Their philosophies may differ but it’s that stubbornness that costs us in the end and is keeping this train of mediocrity going
Its not this season. Last 39 league games since the great first 10 last season are now W17 D5 L17. Its the definition of mid table. This season we've had pretty comfortable fixtures to date, played Newcastle, Utd, West Ham at good times and we're 10th. Things about to get a whole lot tougher. I think talk of 4th is a bit of a fantasy at this point. If every team under performing in the league this season fired their managers, who would be left? It's an odd season. 10th place and 3 points off 3rd, tied with half the league for most wins at 5. Spurs could end up easily in the top 4 and win a trophy along the way. They might also end up about 7th and the season end up a step backwards. But those are things we won't know for quite some time. My guess is it will be an ugly season but we finish 4th or 5th. There's nothing for it but to keep pushing forward. The worst thing would be to take a team that has been schooled to play an unorthodox style and try to change direction in mid-season.
you do realise our defenders play in a system that is literally the worst possible system for defenders possible? in fact its the worst fucking system in football all together.40-50 mill defenders, you mean the ones we either overpaid for or are quite overrated?....Romero with his constant brainfarts, VDV with his dodgy hamstrings, Porro and Udogie who have no defensive awareness??
