So pissed off - 1 step forward, 3 steps back EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Call me extreme but I'm thinking of writing a strongly worded letter. I know it's going a bit far, but this requires a radical approach and I'm known to be a loose cannon.

I like McKenna but I really don't think he's ready to make a jump up to Spurs this soon. I'm not Ange in or Ange out. McKenna wouldn't leave now. Maybe summer. All I asked originally was who would you take. Are you saying we take Mason for the remainder of the season then Mckenna in the summer??
No to Mason. He's had 2 goes and not up to it at this level, at least not yet.

I don't know exactly who I'd get. To be honest it's not the fans job to know all the up and coming managers in Europe - it's Lange's.

That's why fan discussions of the same 2 or 3 names as if they're the only options irritate me. It's not just "Potter or De Zerbi", just because those are the only two names you know. Brighton picked up a nobody from the German 2nd division and has them 4th and playing great football, beating huge clubs along the way. Good managers are out there if you know where to look.

As for McKenna, he was on Brighton's list so I'd be looking long and hard at him for that reason alone. Others on my list from the Prem would include Silva, Iraola, Howe. De Zerbi and Potter would also be on it. But mainly I'd hope Lange would have a list of names like Amorim from across Europe who'd be willing to come mid-season.

Defeatist attitude eventually sets in when you realize the club is not actually serious about anything but Top 4 and making money.
While it's undeniably true that we're trying to make money any way we can, I think the expenditure has been good enough to secure better performances than we've gotten. I'm just not convinced of this argument.

I mean, paying real fucking money for BJ and Werner (wages) is insane. I've lost hope of them ever being worth it. Same argument can be made for Ange.

Ange was on Brighton list we need a xabi type promising and wins things

You could say the same for this summer. Bunch of teenagers and Solanke. All while we are literally burning Udogie and Porro out. Squad building has been pathetic for a few seasons
100% and many of us did call out the window.
It was obvious that Solanke as the only first team addition was woefully short.

But we were assured by the mouth breathers on here that the likes of Bergvall, Gray and Moore could step straight in.

They should have been loaned out and 2-3 more players brought on clear as day.

Dragusin is shit. Agent made a big deal. Hes shit. Johnson lightweight. Jury still out on solanke. More questions than answers with this Ange. Based on that ange has to go. First half was just a running festival. No skill or guile.

Pal, first time we faced a decent team in the EL, we got annihilated

I know, that’s what I mean by fluff, we need some shockers in other games and to somehow find our way to a final knocking out teams from the Dutch league and some Icelandic cast offs and hope there’s another that can be sat in a final waiting for us…. Don’t worry I’m more than aware we’d likely lose it 1-0 …but please mate just let me have a little bit of hope for the season…….please.

Every really competitive player that wants to win something at some point realizes its not going to happen at THFC under Levy. That is soul destroying.

The cost.
The sideways football.
The fucking time wasting.
The useless referees.
Etc, etc etc.....

The Emperor's new clothes.

Are any if us truly convinced by the Aussie?

Have any if us seen tangible progress?

Levy could fire and hire over the International break. But he won't.

This turgid, slow, predictable, defenseless team will continue to play for the rest of the season.

Ange in my opinion is not the manager to drive this team forward, and he had brought in almost all of those on the pitch today.

I'd bring in Chris Davies, give him half a season to assess the squad, and get rid of those "coaches" who can't sort a defence out, assemble a midfield worthy of the name or teach wingers to cross the fucking ball.

If you think i am mad, so be it, but bringing in "proven winners" has got us where?

Spot on, my man.

God knows I friggin hate losing, but yeah it's gonna happen eventually and I accept that. But no way I'm ever gonna be okay with losing the way we do, it drives me absolutely mad. I have zero tolerance for gutless sissies.

By the way, apologies for the name-calling from earlier. I actually like most of your content on here, though I disagree on the fundamentals. Emotions getting the better of me. Mea Culpa.
Lol I bash and forget for all match day threads anyway. I can understand emotions run high for everyone, including me.
