And right on que - k-pop band announced for July next year.

There used to be a football club over there.
Now it is a multipurpose entertainment venue. appealing to the widest paying markets available.

Don’t mind the rebrand, like that they’re using the monogram again, although the I prefer the original.

Cannot stand the constant use of to dare is to do, it’s not exactly fitting
Same. I'm all for them going over the graphical/branding profile every so often. It's something that you should do with some regularity. Tweak some small things here and there but keep the core elements that are integral to the identity.

Then agian, my degree is in communication and media so I may be a bit biased.

It’s the same isn’t it?

All very bizarre.

I’m certain the club are trolling us now though.
They barely touched the stuff relative to match kits. And just did some minor tweaks to the rest.

Which is perfectly fine, since it is something that you need to do every so often from a marketing point of view. So I do think that fans are making a mountain out of a molehill here. But I can understand why fans are getting salty even if I personally don't see the big deal about it.

And is the entire business supposed to grind to a halt in some sort of mourning after a defeat?....

It's mental to me that people get so wound up when they are clearly still looking for club news, or else they wouldn't see it.

It's not because of Ipswich.
In fact it's not even about a new badge, that happens every so often.

It's just another symptom of something very personal becoming yet more and more corporate and generic. Driven by owners who just want to get rich off Spurs.

It's not about Ipswich and it's not this rebrand nonsense in itself. It's one of the many straws on the groaning camel's back.

I reckon the stadium will quietly begin to drop Hotspur from the name in the not too distant future.
I wouldn't even be surprised if they make the giant cockerel easy to remove/hide for when the money making events take place.
They already strip the club shop of all THFC merchandise during NFL events.
If Levy could sell off the football club and lease the stadium back to it he wouldn't hesitate.
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Ltd is already operating as a separate company in its own right.
