so now we are right back in reach of the top 4 and pumped pep city away 4-0, all your worries should be greatly reduced, including that ange is out of his depth

this will give the team huge confidence for the immediate future so we can be right at the top end of the table in no time

happy time for me
City are unique in the league in that they refuse to play any other style except measured attack. This plays directly into our strengths.

No one else sets up so nicely for us. The real question for Ange is about consistency and ability to win vs practical teams willing to sit back and counter against us.

This is why we give him the season. On our day we can beat anyone.

Best chance in a good few years of winning a cup with this squad and style of play.

2025. Cup treble maybe????
Maybe a tad optimistic.

One will do me.

COYS.
Yes. But on any given day we can also lose to anyone.

The consistency is the issue (and has been before Ange, admittedly).

We've beaten City often in recent years, master performance but this isn't some new event. We always get up to play them.

Can we beat Fulham and Bournemouth, though? I'll feel a lot better about him if we do that.

The team follow his general instructions on how to set up, obviously he cant micomanage every moment but he could've told the team to not play on the counter. The 4-1 loss to Chelsea is proof of that I would've thought.
I mean- you’re entitled to your opinion. I’ve seen no indication or words from Ange that he’s coached any other style except all out Angeball attack. I really would be shocked if he did tell our side to play on the counter.

Credit where credit is due. I slated him after the Ipswich disaster, but to oversee a performance like that tonight he deserves the plaudits.

The proof will be, if we don't throw it all away against Fulham next week.

Said through gritted teeth! 😂

It doesn’t matter what I say. If I say City were crap and we were unlucky, you’ll cry. If I say well done we played well, you’ll cry.

That’s the way it is. This team can achieve great results but isn’t consistent. That’s what everyone wants to see now. Sort of pointless doing this if we then go to lose to a Fulham or Bournemouth.

I think teams practice low blocks in training. I'd be very surprised given how well we played on the break today if that was done without any coaching.

The way we set up and played today, SUITED and helped all the players - in defence, attack and all phases of play.

A smart man susses that and sets this as the template.

If we sat back that day and lets say held on for a 1-1 draw then we wouldn't have had the conviction is his playing style to go to the Etihad and win 4-0 today! He's building something and happy to hit the short term pain for long term gain. Sadly some fans can't handle the short term pain!

I'm all in. Ange is an absolute genius

It is amusing how the apparently shite players are dragged over hot coals when the results are embarrassing but on glorious nights like tonight it's down to Angelos.

I'm sure if we don't get 6 points from Fulham & Bournemouth it'll be down to those pesky shite players again.

A real genius beats Ipswich. I’m glad we won but calling him a genius is premature.

There is a legitimate question as to if Ange is able to properly motivate the players each game- they seem to, as usual, play up or down to their opponents

no everybody complained about ange only being able to beat lower teams like this, take a look at the results against them

sitting back against angeball means you get smacked 4-0 or 4-1
