Can we have some love for Don Pedro?

I thought he had a fine game and scored a lovely goal.

In fact, all our back four were admirable. People pissed their knickers at the prospect of Radu and Big Ben but they both had great games. U-Dog too. Even when we we under the cosh, as you might expect against the League champions at home, they defended really well. Pape and Biss too when it was needed Oh, and the likes of Madds and Sonny too getting stuck in.

Vale our heroic defence!

I bow down before you, brave seer!

Let's all cheer our only Spanish player...know your game

...he was good right

Our passing was top notch today, and for most of the players especially in midfield and attack we made really good decisions in transition.

The third goal with Kulu dancing past a couple, getting himself away, on another day that could have been overplayed and the ball lost, today though he made some great moves, lost his marker, then instead of trying to go on, he plays the pass for Solanke - Porro’s goal, just phenomenal.

Likewise the forth goal, I do t think anyone would have blamed Timo for hitting that, but he pops it across hoping Johnson can get to it in time. Even though Timos confidence probably isn’t high, he makes the decision to go at Walker late on and it pays off.

I just really think a big part of tonight is some very good decision making in key moments. Something we don’t always get, but it was spot on tonight.
