Match Blood Money Cheats v Spurs - 23 Nov @ 17:30

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I got a message not long after the game 'watch us crumble against Fulham'. Seriously, fuck Fulham, Roma, Ipswich and basically everything else that exists. If we can't settle back feeling golden with a big shit-eating grin on our face after that, what's the point of watching the game? It was fucking brilliant.

Yep.

I will add that most of the commentary post game has been about City's woes. Very little on how impressive we were. Every goal we scored today was stunning to watch. Haven't enjoyed a game like that in ages.

City haven't just been beaten today they've been absolutely dismantled. We we're balanced we got the attacking and defending spot on. We dug in for a spell in that second half. That had everything in terms of an all round performance. If we do not kick on from that now then we never will.
Like I said I’ve not seen the game but if what you describe is how we played then that is all we want. Now we must maybe not play the same way , as city probably had more ball, but go out with same intensity and desire v Fulham. Otherwise this result would be meaningless in terms of points and signs of progress.

Ange played a blinder, putting Biss and Pape in the midfield to help protect Ben and Drag at the back was right. Madds and Deki were amazing when set free
I think the benching of Johnson to allow MADDs to play after what everyone has been saying was prbly his best call yet. V city where you know they will have plenty of the ball you need speed but most importantly players who will use the ball wisely and look after it making the correct passes. Today has showed from what I have read is players like turbo and Johnson should be starters but impact subs. Will they be able to produce v Fulham who may sit deep?

One of the most impressive aspects of our performance was our finishing. The first 3 were all controlled finishes, there was none of the usual heads down and thrashing at the ball.
Our finishing? - you can thank Madders for that. He's one of those wonderful players who keeps his head when he's one-on-one with a marauding keeper bearing down on him. Quick-witted and calm when under pressure. Our other strikers could learn by watching his finishing skills.

I get anger when we lose , certainly at ENIC . I don’t get how every single poster on here was not cracking open a bottle of whatever they drink in celebration yesterday . Of course we haven’t won anything which is admittedly the ultimate goal, ( however unlikely) but ffs that logic means as a fan you have been happy once in the last 27 years . We may or may not win a trophy this season but it feels like progression to me, with a style that won’t make our greats of yesteryear ashamed.

If you can’t enjoy yesterday and by that I mean really really fucking enjoy it I feel sorry for you . A life wallowing in fandom misery seems a strange choice , each his own I suppose .

Of course I will be pissed off if we lose to Fulham , all the more reason to enjoy smashing City

He’s not lost a game, he’s lost 5. What’ll take time? To be able to get a win at home against Ipswich?
im still baffled by this amazing performance
then saw the table and saw if we won vs the mighty ipswich we be one point (*correction same points as Woolwich but in front of them) in front of Woolwich
what a strange world

Of course it was a fantastic result yesterday and Spurs fans have every right to be in a celebratory mood, but - and I am not saying this to dampen the mood - I do not let myself be carried away at all. And I certainly hope the player will NOT be carried away - as they have in the past of trashing teams in the EPL.
We all saw what happened after beating Man City and L-cup or trashing Wham & Villa.
Of course, this is totally hypothetical but I would gladly have swapped the win over Man CIty with 2 wins of Palace & Ipswich (games in which Spurs played so badly is beyond believe).

Just enjoy the moment mate, we know what this club can do to us, enjoy the highs because they seemingly do not last long, for now anyway.

Why is it that you took no pleasure whatsoever from this game?

That you only posted twice after our first goal, both times to slag off Son Heung-min?

I'm genuinely curious.

You go to home games, right? I'm pretty sure you don't carry on there like you do here. So this is simply an amusing internet persona?

It's a very, very odd way for a Tottenham fan to act, as well as being a total waste of your and everyone's time
And another point, I boshed out plenty of likes and agrees to other posters positive posts - no point me duplicating what’s already been said about our great goals so kindly renege on your nonsensical shit sandwich above you paella eating cretinous bull killer
