Local to me is the tiny club of Amersham Town, they're in the combined counties league, step 5. Interestingly they have a player who's already hit 30 goals this season so far, that's not a bad hit rate!!

Had a trial with Wycombe and they turned him down.

Will be close to 4,000 at Wealdstone on Saturday for the sold out game against Wycombe in the 2nd round of The FA Cup, fantastic for the club. Live on ITV as well!

One the Wealdstone Forum, this was asked...
id be interested to hear how a sell out crowd and live tv game impacts on commercial opportunties.

One of the directors answered this...
For this game, commercial opportunities are pretty limited beyond the FA and their commercial partners. We do however get a 5 figure fee on top of the TV money and the prize money from the FA for all the commercial stuff with their partners on match day.

Beyond that, we'll have to see how the coverage impacts our profile. One thing we have seen is a spike in u16 season ticket sales again. Interest in the club is growing generally, underpinned by our attendances which are averaging 1,739 so far this season compared to 1,532 last season.

Up The Stones!!

Bring a friend for FREE to Maidenhead United on Boxing Day

Maidenhead United is extending a warm invitation to Stones supporters for the upcoming Vanarama National League match on Boxing Day. Recognising the importance of community and companionship during the festive season, The Magpies are offering a special initiative: for every ticket purchased, fans can bring a guest for free. This offer extends to Wealdstone supporters.

Whether it's a friend, family member, neighbour or colleague, this is an opportunity to share the match day experience and support mental well-being. This initiative is part of Maidenhead United's partnership with the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), focusing on combating loneliness and social isolation during the holidays.

Stones fans are encouraged to take advantage of this offer by inviting someone along to not only share a day of football but also offering companionship and support when it's needed most.

To purchase your ticket and receive one free, select the Away CALM offers at https://ethicalticketing.org/maidenhead ... /276608658
