Yes, poor half. But Werner has been alright, he stretches the play, runs at them, tries to thread passes through, he helps defensively also. He's been much better than Sonny and the Welsh lad, though that wasn't that hard a feat

The problem is then you just have Werner for an option at LW, when you really want to move Son there, but Son can't play a full 90 at LW. Should have started one or the other, and had the other to back them up when they start to tire.
Ange made a big choice setting up like that- he will be proven right or wrong with that gamble based on the final result. I'm not sure it was the right call though.
