Barring a significant upswing in the PL ; where even 4th may not be beyond our reach . It’s all about the Europa and Carabao ( hopefully IF we get past Yahnited and the get either The Toon or Brentford in the semis) .

Possibly even top 6 could save Ange .

But the whole « Spurs are looking for a new manager « thing stopped being exciting a long time ago . IMO .

It depresses me just to think about it. I reckon I’m not alone .

Your point about inconsistency could apply to either the players or squad or both.

Imo Angeball is a risky style of play with a high ceiling but low floor. If we buy elite level players this style could really click and we'd be challenging right at the very top... but if not we will be see-sawing every week like this.
On the other hand, a more defensive style of play could see us be more consistent with our current squad, but no real hope of achieving much even if we improved our squad. Days of Jose and Conte's style dominating PL is over.

We don't buy elite level players hence the wage bill.
The club will flip flop from good to bad until, someone with a determined winning vision takes over.

You know by the time we play united they will be in form while, our form and everything else will be out the window.
The club is a depressing mess these days, good work though from everyone at the club, levy, lange, ange and players, not a winner amongst them.

Proven winners ask for big wages...but Danny doesn't like paying big wages (except his).

Big-time players also wanna have a say in how the club is run on the football side...but Danny doesn't like not being the centrepiece.

On a different but related note, I recently drove past Spurs fans who no doubt shout yid army, giving local Jews grief in south Tottenham. Taking the piss out of them. Proper annoying to see.

I’ve never met him or know very much about him ; but from what I’ve heard maybe he was just « misunderstood «.

Having said that he certainly seems to needs someone to get him one of these « five-minutes to cool down and reflect before you hit send « - delay app things ; for Christmas ( or whatever mid-winter festival is more relevant) .

I’m actually being serious.

Having said that : it was an unacceptable thing for ANYONE to post on a public forum . Unless it’s a particularly hard-cord Lennie Bruce Parody one ; and this one ain’t that
