Missed the game today as I’m having a short break in Greece. Was grinding my teeth furiously, inwardly, cursing everything about this stupid club whilst trying to pretend to all around that I’m having a good time.
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has genuinely ruined my life. How many days, weekends, months, years have been destroyed by this pathetic, culturally broken, insipid yet wholly failed group of deluded, privileged, protected wasters? Nearly 35 years since we won anything meaningful. What a shambolic embarrassment.
I honestly don’t know what to make of Ange. I want him to be the one. He seems frustrated and lost in his own idealistic fantasy land. But how can anyone ever be the one whilst living under the false fluffy cloud dictatorship of the greedy bald one and our atrocious board of materialistic henchmen.
This club is utterly undeserving of the fans. Incredible support home and away. Hordes of folk from Tottenham to Texas, from Stevenage to Seoul, utterly devoted and committed to the lilywhite shirt. Fuck knows on what basis. We’re dirty, filthy poison. In and amongst the wokery of today, surely every Tottenham ticket or purchase should come with the most serious of health warnings.
This drug don’t work.

Really good post except the bit about Levy. It's a lazy correlation which completely fails to recognise the freakish nature of this club.
Should we not have beaten Leicester to the league? Look at the players we had at the time compared to Leeicester, even with their star performers.
Chelea the season after, went on the kind of run that you could not fathom and since whenever we have seen Abramovich/Mourinho, Ferguson, Klopp, and Guardiola.
How does any team compete and win against that?
So yes, to much of a really good read, and also yes that it's been too long and the hope (I don't think he will be) that Postecoglou is the one, but other than one shameful summer of no spend, we have seem pretty consistent expenditure.
In the last window we spent money again but probably too much on the future and not enough on the now.
