I speak only personally but I was quite keen on the appointment - I don't like this idea of judging people because they 'only' managed in such and such league: I'd heard good things about Ange, so was reasonably satisfied. Then the opening 10 games or so came, and we all got carried away...well i guess we recall things differently. I recall alot of anger that we were screwed up slot and nagelsmann before hand for a guy no one had heard of. wasn't until the board was flooded with celtic supporters that some came around to the idea of the appointment
In fact, I can see positives. He seems genuine about bringing through young players. We play good football at times. When we win, we win well. Barring a catastrophic run in form I'd keep him 'til the end of the season.
My concern is the apparent inability to grow and adapt. He seems wedded to his style and sometimes when we've performed above expectations it's because his hand has been forced. The Celebrity Masterchef parody summed it up well for me.
The big problem however is NOT Poste, it's Levy/ENIC not backing our managers and our indifferent recruitment. Until we get that sorted we will always be also rans. As they aren't leaving, I would reassess at the end of the season. If we continue as we are I would bring in someone more pragmatic who can make a team more than the sum of its parts.
