Well, by all the metrics, he should be sacked. Sacking him being a good choice is a different matter though. It depends on how much you trust Levy to replace him with someone who can do a better job within the structure the owners have created, which is frankly, a losing environment.

I think the real question is, is it possible that someone else coming in could do worse than Ange? Or is it more likely they will outperform him?
A new manager could possibly improve our short term results. We'd become a more pragmatic team with a lower celing but a higher floor. We'd be less likely to win trophies and be able to beat the top teams, but we'd be alot better at grinding out wins against the lower teams.

My guess is a new manager would get us back competing for top 4 as we'd have more consistency in the league but we'd have alot less flair to be able to beat the big teams so would be alot less likely to win a cup.

Do we? Most of our dropped points have come after a midweek game. It seems to be the main reason why we drop points so often.

What were the losses?

Palace, Ipswich, Brighton, Fulham I'm guessing...

I'm not putting that down to the lack of options I'm putting that down to bad performances from manager and players.

theyve downgraded the squad massively in the last 3 years. other than haaland, savinho and gvardiol, the rest of them are not anywhere near good enough to be joining the best team in the world. bringing back gundogan is a mad one. its all falling apart there now.

letting alvarez go was a mistake too, he was perfect to not only cover haaland but gave them different dynamic in the final third and he could also play just behind the front man.

peps obsession with trying to force rico lewis to be a big player is strange too, hes way off that level, reminds me of winks for us. like a boy out there against men and makes them so much weaker.

Yeah the rico lewis obsession is baffling. Hes not good enough to be in that team.

Oh no the Aussie fanboy who literally would stick by Ange no matter what because he shares his nationality doesn’t rate what I say!!!!

Yeah he did well in some backwater leagues. I could name about fifty complete nobodies who have managed in a World Cup. Gareth Southgate has got to Euro finals and World Cup semi finals, shall we hire him tomorrow?

‘Set the A league on fire’

Mate the A league is Npower League one level at absolute best, nobody fucking cares, seriously.
lol and just wow. So uneducated.
Get out of your EPL bubble princess.
Oh wait, it’s England, you win everything 😆

yea, well conte had a back 5 that consisted of emerson, dier and davies.... he also got us top 4 with that pile of shit.

the irony is conte would do a lot better with this squad than what he had.

it doesnt have to be gung ho or 5 at the back counter attacking. it can be more balanced.

Would love to see what Conte does with Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner on the wing, he's probably tear his toupee out and throw it on the floor.

I will say that I was surprised by the volume of the boos at the final whistle yesterday. I
Yesterday's performance didn't warrant boo's at the end.

It was a tough game, but it wasn't an awful performance.

I just think some of our fans currently live in cuckoo land and have constant expectations that are not completely realistic to where we are. In the last week we beat Man City convincingly, drew to a fairly decent Roma side and then ground out a result yesterday with alot of key players missing or not fit.

We should go balls deep to get Iraola out of Bournemouth before City move in from Pep.
Did you see the run he had last season when he first started there, and the losses to Leicester and Brentford this season? Imagine that here. This fan base doesn't have the patience for a project, but also doesn't want a win now manager. There is no pleasing.

That's a silly comparison unless you think hiring the Bournemouth manager means having Bournemouths resources as well.

I'm not surprised the atmostphere at the stadium has gone to the dogs whne I see the way certain fans on here talk about the manager and team with such disdain. Its quite sickening really.

All we are is football supporters. The idea is you support your team. We don't seem to be very good at that!
