Levy has pulled the trigger in far better positions. He has injuries/suspensions etc. but Levy isn't leaving, Lange isn't leaving and the players aren't leaving. Ange will be gone w/c 9th... strap yourself in for Mason version whatever we are up to now.

Levy has pulled the trigger in better positions because he could afford to do it, he doesn't have the luxury now and quite frankly he hasn't backed a manager this much since ever, nor has he had a manager bat for him and the board and put all the blame on his shoulders and not point fingers at the board.

The circumstances are entirely different.

Can you keep your guff in the Ange thread?
You will also feel well at home in the ENIC thread.

I repeat something that another forumist said (alas, I don't remember who).

Which of our starting XI would start in the other 5 big clubs?
I can only think of VDV, and maybe Vic and Deki. All the others are mid-table at best.

If these people really do exist, then they're such a small, barmy minority that they're not really worth paying attention to.
The majority of them would tolerate it for probably 2 years as long as we don't go down. They'll still be rambling on about Fergie in the 80s and how coaches need time. Despite the fact there are zero examples of failing coaches turning it around after being given time. Zero.

I genuinely believe a small subgroup of the above would still demand a coach is given time even after a relegation.

A lot of moaning going on about injuries and tiredness on various podcasts and elsewhere. While i dont believe in tiredness this early in season (march, april yes) players like porro, udogie possibly leggy alright.
Forster new in goals.
Centre halves are new in position.
Gray has replaced porro in european games at right back and udogue at left back.
Our midfield has been rotated as have our wingers. No way are werner, son, johnson burnt out.
Gray needs to be used in midfield
Spence needs to be given a run.
Lankshear should have started up top sunday for physicality and work rate alone.

While options are weaker there are things we can do to rotate a little more without seriously weakening starting team.
We do need left back cover though
Tiredness was used last season when we played less games than anyone else. 😅

Pedro Porro will play all 90 minutes even if Ange has to concoct some bizarre pulley system like Kevin in Home Alone to keep him moving.

Maybe he'll let Djed pull the strings.

home alone christmas movies GIF

Only joking. Djed won't be allowed to touch it.

Give Ange until the end of the season, I can’t see the point of replacing before then - we are in zero danger of going down.

All I ask is he goes for it in the cups. If we finished 14th but won both the League cup and Europa league, thus ensuring CL football - do you get rid of him?

If he wins two trophies in a season he gets a gold statue on the High Road and his face painted over Harry Lanes on that mural.
