No you won't...

What you will do though is creep back several days after the latest travesty on the pitch to offer up fake positivity, gas light and wind everyone up.

That's your niche

Speaking of creeping back, you were meant to leave the site after a bet last season weren't you, what happened there?

Not that anyone should give a toss really because it's as boring as fuck but seeing as you have this obsession with me bringing up irrelevant shit I might just do it as well, how about that 😆

Are you really satisfied with our progress as a club?
Are you going into tonight's game confident of a win?
Is big Ange still doing it for you?
How long will it take with us being mediocre and predictable as fuck before you stop backing Levy? Another 10 years? 15?

Do you have any interesting takes on anything?

Here is your chance to gaslight floor is yours...

Yeah no one wants to read all this in here soI 'll pm you the answers if you're really interested, might do it later - look out for it!

Yeah I think what they say and what they do are very different. Levy tried the win now managers in Conte and Mourinho where they bought experienced players and he probably sees them 4 years as a complete mistake.

Actions speak louder than words and it seems we are only willing to spend money on young talents who might not help the team now. We were willing to pay 40m on Archie Gray but not Conor Gallagher for example. Also going for Odobert when Neto and Eze were on the market is another example. The proof is in the pudding. Thats why I can't see them sacking Ange this season. Levy knows he didn't sign any players (bar Solanke) who were going to instantly improve the squad this season. Instead he is hoping we can do what we did under Poch and turn this young team into a compettive team but that could take years and is no guarantee it'll ever happen.
I honestly don't think Levy blames himself for them 4 years...or anything that's wrong with Spurs. He'll always pin it on someone else and hide while the dust settles. Guy has zero accountability, he's all pure egocentrism and, mainly, he gives zero fucks about us fans as long as we keep spending.

To me, it's also clear his 'strategy' when appointing Ange and signing them players, was to strike gold again like he did with Poch, Dele & co. That's literally his masterplan, hoping to win having spent as little as possible on unheralded managers & players. Would make him a right genius and even if/when it doesn't work out, well he's still in the plus column financially speaking and he can still give himself that fat bonus & payrise without blinking.

2-1 Bournemouth
They go 1 up in the first half, our fans boo at HT, we score an equalizer after a blistering 2nd half start.
By 60 minutes we're back to passing side to side and back to the keeper and then Bournemouth get the winner.

It's incredibly expensive to run a football club, John. The accounts are published annually, we're not making a ton of profit stuffed in the owners' pockets. Last accounts showed a massive loss, and even more to come on FY2024 with no payments from European football last season.

Adding in the significant loss from the most recent accounts, there is not a single club in England which has not made a significant 11-figure net cumulative loss over the past 4 years. That's fucking madness.

It's not a sustainable enterprise, and trying to keep up with the financial dopers will eventually destroy the sport. It's wholly reliant on the charity of stupid rich people.

Draw written all over it tonight. We have a pretty good record at Bournemouth, I don’t think they will turn us over.

2-2 is my prediction

Hopefully we get McCoist commentating - he definitely doesn’t hate us

Unlike Conte and Mourinho who we brought in as purely short term solutions to try and win now while we had peak Harry Kane, Ange was brought in as a project manager. I believe it was accepted within the hierarchy that we would not be competitive for a few years and that we'd use these years to bring the wage bill down, average age of squad down, start playing exciting football again, etc. Basically Ange is doing what they brought him in to do! Thats why I think there is a 90% chance he gets this season

This might be one of the worst things I've read in my life.

We're not fucking Crystal Palace. Bring the wages bill down? We're already slipping behind the the big clubs. The stadium was meant to bring parity not austerity.
