Management Ange Postecoglou

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

That was as abject as I've seen us in the league for a long time. No desire, completely baffling subs and a lot of meaningless hand-wringing.

Iraola or Terzic for me.

My first choice is Thomas Frank.

Few others in the mix, but I think his overall toolkit is the best fit, right now.
My personal dream is Ernesto Valverde. But he ain't coming in mid season.

But we need someone that puts a focus on the basics. Both in attack and in defence.

Ange's system isn't complicated in itself. But some of it makes it more complicated than it has to be. You can see the players hesitate to pass the ball far too often.

This approach is trying to be more freewheeling and open than Harry Redknapp's team was. We don't have the individual talent of that team, and the general depth and strength of the league is miles better than it was back then, you can't do that.

Injuries don't help, but they are fuck all to do with basics such as not being able to defend corners properly, or mark/track runners, or that because of the tactics whenever we lose the ball there is big hole in the middle and the opposition run it upfield dangerously most times.

If it doesn't change, it's ending in tears.

Guy is out of his depth. Ideologically incapacitated. Bournemouth’s manager had them set up well, good attacking football, systematic and effective defending, honestly, our manager is not a top 10 manager. Possibly not even a PL manager. Should stick to D list leagues.
