IMO Angeball or whatever you want to label it needs a big squad, its essentially played like a 11 man 5 a side match with constant running ,100 mph pressing , fast aggressive tackling which will either cause injuries or completely knacker the players. The squad is paper thin made up of prospects , its going to be an up and down time when half the team don't shave yet.
loaning out Phillips seems a dumb idea considering how we play but ultimately its Levy who only wants sell on value players, we need that fuck knuckle to sell up to some one interested in Football.
However Ange has to take responsibility for last nights shit show, Johnson on the left was a no no for starters and Kulu wasted on the right when he has been our best player when played in the middle, every game feels like a shite experiment.
luckily I'm out Sunday so I wont have to get pissed off.
How often do we see this fast 100moh football?
We can make 5 subs in games but he very rarely does. You think he could have put Spence on last Thursday either at FB or wide forward.

I think we'd get better results because he's a far superior coach and will get more out of what he has available. He'd also adapt within each game as the situation demands.
There would obviously be a glass ceiling we'd fail to break through though so long as we remain in the shackles of Levy / ENIC

What exactly about his coaching and tactics makes you think he is a far superior coach?

In fact we if you look at pure first regs then goalie and two CBs. It’s a toss up between biss and bent but we have gray who could play CM. Put Spence RB but he doesn’t trust both players in those positions. Scary!
You’re right.

I don’t know what’s going on behind the scene with Spence, but if he is a problem, then why did the club offer him an extension/new deal?

At this point, I don’t really care what he’s like as a person (so long as it’s not racist, bigoted etc.). We have a RB that suits the position, so play him. Why are we fucking Gray’s development by playing him at RB and LB?!

I fucking hate Levy but the team selection is on Ange, and so are the transfers, so all of this shit is on him.

Not because Romero or VdV is out.

Remember when the sky was going to collapse because Vic is out? Forster has done alright and been one of the better players but it’s just that he wears clown shoes when he’s playing.

One of the issue is that the in the current player market, the top echelon are getting obsene money, which clubs like Tottenam won't pay.

That market also drags up the price for bang average players.

We end up with Richarlsons getting 60 mill, when he's no better than Chris Wood whose worth a tenth of that. That then ups the fan expectations: "Look at our spend, compared to Forest, we should be doing better".

Unless you're willing to pay for the big boys to play with the big boys, you'll finish anywhere between 6th and 12th, because mediocrity is mediocre no matter which club they play for. and what you paid for them.
Not necessarily true. There are plenty of players we could go for who would cost a lot less than what we have paid. I mention already Wharton £20M, kone£18M, Dobvky £25M to name a few. Also the Brighton Cf looks a good player.

Whats Pulis and Delap upto these days?

Lol. Ange is Charlie in the Chocolate Factory right now. No way could he have ever hoped to manage a club like Spurs - he's got no leverage to demand anything.

That doesn't absolve Levy, either. He hired a completely out-of-his-depth manager whose only meaningful experience came from fledgling leagues on the other side of the planet.

Disaster from all. We can't sack Levy, but we can sack Ange. His replacement might not be better, but they'll have a hard time being worse.
Wasn’t Munn behind it as well?
