Maybe not to that level but his ego certainly is just as big imo but personally I don't think even Ange belives his own hype, it's just false bravado born from insecurity.

I think Jose truly belives he is the "special one" lol!

I wouldn't personally do it myself either, I think there are better ways to show you're unhappy but I am not going to judge people for it as, like you, I know humans can react emotionally at times.
yeah it seems an act with ange to cover up the insecurities. That’s why he is easily rattled by a random fan.

No one is saying he’s managed at EPL levels. However he has managed in some fairly high performance areas. Celtic, whether you rate the league or not, is a high pressure position. He’s also managed at World cups and Asian Cups. You can scoff all you like, but that is still a high performance arena. And you all bag the J League, but it’s not as bad as you think. There is some big clubs and the J League has some quality players. Yes the A League is shit, I can categorically support that sentiment, but it is a salary capped league. To do what Ange did in a salary capped league is impressive. Have a read of this.
I respect your opinion. But I don’t rate these leagues at all. Washed up players like Joe hart go there & become number 1s. It’s probably the equivalent to league 2. That’s why it’s rare Scottish league players come over here & do well these days.
But we shall see how it gets on once levy sacks him. I bet this ends up being his biggest job.

He will be fine once he goes back to New South Wales warriors.

What we actually need is a manager that would say to the players to pass the ball correctly and not take always the wrong decision.

Problem solved.
What we need is a manager that coaches patterns of play where players pass and move. We play as statues with players in standing still positions. How often do you see a player pass the ball then move into space for the return. We sometimes do that when behind. Otherwise it’s all about passes to feet and may be if MADDs is on song quick little round the corner passes. Most of it is off the cuff hence why when we are struggling a lot of this doesn’t come off.

Every time I look at the stats I see more horrific picture than I could have imagined.

This season we are now on 20p from 14 games. This is 1.43 ppg. Across 38 game season this means finishing on 54 points. This will get you 8th-12th place finish in EPL depending on season.
If we look at the whole Ange's reign - we have gathered 86 points from 52 games. This equals to 1,65 ppg. Across 38 game season it brings up to 63 points. This would get you 6th place (across past 6 years also once 5th and once 7th).

But now the most shocking part - if we eliminate the first 10 games - and one with even two functioning braincell would have to. Cause following 42 games have shown that there has been absolute zero indication of that ever repeating. Saying that it is a factor to consider is as credible as to suggest re-signing Dele Alli for 100 mil pounds. Cause 6 years ago he was worth that amount. Even though after that he has not replicated anything of like. So no one is suggesting him being worth 100 mil now. Why would we count something that has not been here for 4,2x longer than it hasnt to be relevant anymore?
Then we are EXACTLY back to the current season 1.43 ppg.

So this shit form is NOT ABOUT THIS SEASON. It is not about current injury crises.
We have been in 54-points-form so 8th-12th place course for 42 games in a row now.
We have been absolutely shit for full season + 4 games (!) and there has been absolutely no improvement.

And when was the last time we finished on such level of points?
In 2008-2009 season (!) since then we have finished below 60 points once - 2019-2020 when we had 59 points.
We have been on course of 15 year shittiest result for more than full year, and people yet roll their eyes and call people names, and "trigger happy" and "impatient" and whatever more.
It’s shocking really. Add to that we actually do not play good football sometimes, run around a lot, get players injured, no real patterns of play and we have spent how much in the 3 transfer windows. We look a completely uncoached team.

Incredibly eye opening to see him own the signings of Gray and Odobert and basically admit they were his signings and he was all in on them.

You'd have to think if that wasn't true, he simply wouldn't openly admit it. He would waffle about how they are good young players and they need time. He wouldn't explicity come out with they are my signings and this is the strategy I chose.

And it's complete bollocks to suggest signing experienced players isn't classed as a rebuild.

Neto and Eze are experienced players, and they would 100% constitute a rebuild. Chelsea have rebuilt and they have exclusively signed players under 25.

The more I hear Ange speak, the more clear it becomes that firstly, he has no idea what he is doing, and 2, the club is a complete mess.

That the football people at the club, inc Levy, and Ange all either decided to, or signed off on the strategy, to only sign Odobert, Gray and Solanke in the summer is a disgrace.

It is extremely concerning, because even if Ange pushed for these signings, the club simply should have done more. It's complete dereliction of duty to not do more in the summer in terms of bringing in establisahed quality players.

I thought back in the summer we would be in for a long season, because we simply didn't improve the first 11. It was obvious last season, Son was passed it, Werner was shite and shouldn't have been re-signed, and Johnson should be a back up at most.

And what did we do? brought Werner back and signed a 19 year old from Burnley. If you don't laugh you'll cry.

The club simply has no ambition we know this. However Ange is culpable. He chose to bring in kids, and he will fall on that sword imminently, because it was completely naive.

If it was the clubs strategy to sign Odobert and Gray and not Ange, he should just say that. Of course, this could be the case, it's likely to be honest, but then why would Ange own it. It's a weird thing to do. Just say it was the club strategy to sign them.

The previous summer and in January we signed more established players, so it leads me to think Ange had the final say on the summer signings and he chose this path.

Anyway despite all of that, we should be beating teams like Bournemouth, Fulham and Ipswich, so Ange is failing regardless of the hand he has been dealt by the club.
But did t he say solanki and oddjob they had eyes on them
All the time even though they were last minute purchases. Says a lot really. Archie gray we only went for after Brentford had agreed a deal with Leeds same as with Johnson. So that is two players Brentford have ‘missed’ out on to us. Aren’t they the lucky ones. What puzzles me is if we wanted good quality youth then why didn’t we go in for Wharton who cost half the price of Archie. He plays regularly for palace , got into England squad and played great when we played palace. He would have been perfect. We have spent money but on the wrong players. Just imagine think we could have got both Wharton and line for about £40M. Shocking!

I like Gray a lot, but ya- Wharton + another Odobert type would have been so, so much better for us than just Archie. Wharton looks amazing for Palace whenever I see him.
