I wonder what the vote swing would be if it was nuno with the exact same record. People just don't want to admit how badly they were duped again. There's a reason he's got to 60 and never been at a higher domestic standard than Scotland.

Remember all those people who yelled stuff like "just give me exciting, attacking football and I'm a happy billybob"

Well there's your answer.

Our fanbase is riddled with fucking born losers happy to accept mediocrity

Just how exactly was tonight

“ exciting attacking football “ .

It didn’t end up 1-1 by accident.

It was a poor advertisement for SPL level football. Both teams out there contributed to the “ quality “ on display.

The only reason to keep him for me is if you're OK with this level for the rest of the year, or you want to keep him through the cup match. And the latter point doesn't hold water because that assumes Ange being there increases our chance to win rather than decreasing it.

We've been strictly charged that we are really enjoying the entertaining, attacking football we're being treated to. Therefore...

Unless he pulls a classic act of desperation of going with a lower block+direct/counter play and stumbles upon something actually more fitting to this squad then he's done. Asking this frontline of pace merchants to play in tight spaces is suicidal. He'll probably go out on his terms though. After all those self-absorbed press conferences, it would be utter humiliation for him to abandon his 'principles' as a last resort, only to fail regardless.

That's assuming that he hasn't lost the locker room already obviously. Then it's curtains for him.

I've been Ange OUT since last November and his "not working on set plays" comments
I can see why many fans like this type of open football, but for me its never going to win stuff in this league unless you have the best starting 11 and best subs, we will never have that
so Keep Ange let him see out his 5 years, and we will see more of the same wins & loses in roughly equal measures

It is what we’ve had for almost 4 decades lol with a few exceptions 😅
Yeah. Because our fans pretty much accept it. Some seemed to actually embrace it with the appointment of Ange.

This forum during any given transfer window is a great example.

You'll have a few who question the ambition and the quality of player we bring in, followed by the masses shouting them down for their precieved negativity and questioning their fan credentials.

The same movie plays out every time. With the few critical voices by and large proven right while the masses who shouted them down are left wondering why we continue to be the joke of English Football

Have to feel for him a bit. When you really look at it the squad is wafer thin.

Going away from home and leaving out the only two who have a bit of physicality (Kulu, solanke) about them is a recipe for disaster.

Chuck in an 18 year old centre half and you’re asking for trouble really.

People will say oh just start the same 11 then, but you can’t stick out the same 11 every three days. You have to mix it up in some ways.

I’m not saying he’s blameless by any means, but when you step back and look at what’s he’s currently working with, it’s pretty rubbish.

I have been big Ange in , because I know nothing changes until Levy goes being the primary rational . However I have moved to this is unsustainable. Ange although far from being the main reason for our troubles he is certainly a contributing factor now . I am now in the Levy is the problem and will remain so , but we need to roll the dice and HOPE to hire someone who can mitigate his incompetence mode.. We need to fluke finding another Poch who can get the team playing well in spite of a self sabotaging ownership.

The joy of being a Spurs fan, hoping for a miracle that never comes, at least that is my opinion .

I have been an Ange in but I honestly don’t see a way back now. He won’t change as we saw again last night. The only tweak last night was two sitting centre midfielders instead of 1 but it’s still the same set up in terms of playing out and playing in front of teams at a slow pace. There’s no penetration in behind. The front 3 all come to the ball even when there’s space to run into. That’s what they are obviously being coached to do. Last night crying out for something different. Even play a 4-4-2 with Solanke and Deki up which gives you a presence. One can go in behind and one to feet. Out of possession Deki drops back into make it a 4-5-1.
The fact it’s the same set up and results are getting worse still Ange continues with it tells me he won’t change. That for me is signaling time up.
Next 3 games determine if he’s here after Xmas.
