I’m not querying Sarr playing, just him as the 8 and Bergval as the 6. Seems like it could be the other way round. But as I said maybe he wants more footbally stuff in that 6 position.
Sarr was excellent lovely long passes, covered and broke up play, kept it simple at times and scored a great goal. Won’t have anyone having a go at him. He’s younger than Johnson ffs and yet people give Johnson leeway saying he’s young.

I understand that- still- to give someone with a supposed attitude issue a contract extension so recently? It's just really bizarre, and I think you would have to agree on that. Somehow he has been frozen out of THFC for the better part of 3 seasons, has a known attitude issue, but then we decide to extend his contract? How does he simultaneously have an attitude issue and not even be worth 10m to Genoa (almost a worthless contract), and then suddenly, while he's been completely on the outskirts of the squad, become worthy of an extension? It's utterly bizarre.
It is strange, I can't argue that. About the only logic I can apply to it is that the club see him as a big talent that, if they can instill discipline into him, will go on to be a huge talent.

End of the day, we have no information on the situation, so we shouldn't be jumping to conclusions.

Guys, I think we all needa chill on Dibling. Like some seem ready to spend Neymar's record fee on him.

He's a kid. Who's had a few good games for So'ton. We've already got loads of baby players. So not what we need, especially at 40 or 50 mil.

I don’t think the extension was too much of a surprise. He’s young, obviously talented and ‘only’ on 50k a week. Levy wouldn’t want to lose him on a free and, at worst, he’s a competent squad player that can cover during an injury cries and, hopefully, mature into, if not a valuable asset, a not too expensive fringe player.

Falls squarely into our wheelhouse.

Games like today make you wonder just how high his ceiling is.

But it's a bit like Maddison - has to do it against quality teams when things aren't going our way. That's the difference.

It’s been the issue with Sarr, Maddison, Romero, Bissouma, Bentancur, Son, Udogie, Porro. All them of capable of 9/10 performances but also 4/10 ones as well.

Our ceiling is high but our floor is too low.
