I like xG a lot in theory, but it's really difficult in practice.

As someone mentioned above, the more games you're aggregating, the more the subtleties come out in the wash.

I don't buy that we were out-created 3-4x today, no way. But we did ride our luck quite a bit.

I didn’t say we got lucky to win. I said the numbers weren’t on our side. Which shows you the use of underlying numbers in general.

I think we deserved to win this game. I don’t think we deserved to win other games where we had underlying numbers.

There’s no evidence that we can smash any team on our day. Of the current top 3 we have played 2 this season and lost 2. Anyone wanna stick their neck out now for Sundays game?

From last season we played 6 and won one and we were a better team last season in general.

We can smash most sides in the league on our day, but the top sides so far always have an antidote to Angeball.

This should be the case as regi is a good PL squad player. As I’ve said a million times it’s on Ange and Levy that the euro squad is in such a shit state HG wise that we can only fit porro and Udogie as natural fb’s into our squad.
