I agree.

If Ange got the bullet it would be an entirely different proposition Matt Wells continuing as opposed to when Conte’s lot remained.
Mr Conte's situation was different too. I'd guess that the staff who remained were also subject to contracts... without the same profile as the manager. They are all employees/contractors? The ones who remain at the club I'd expect that there are many reasons for doing so. Matt Well's was born and raised in the area, played for the club his grandfather played for in its most successful period etc etc. He would quietly go about his job I imagine, no fuss or bluster.

We have some poor players, the whole front 6 were pony today, Solanke worked hard as always andJohnson was a bit better than normal but he can't play as a proper winger, no step over, no trick - we were crying out for someone who could beat a man and whip a good cross in, even get half a yard and do it but our wingers aren't useful against bus parkers and our midfield was devoid of intelligence, movement and invention . Mad has to play in games like these.

Sarr and Benta didn't use the ball well or offer themselves enough and Son and Kulu were piss poor also.

We're devoid of confidence but we're also devoid of character. I watched us come out and line up at the start, we looked apprehensive, tense and like a bunch of individuals. I don't want to pick on Johnson as he was a bit better today but he looks like a 9 year old in an adults body, Son like a teenager in the same way.

Another defender injured and another suspended. Big game Sunday, if we lose Ange is under the cosh bigtime.
Changing the manager feels inevitable, I don't back Mason taking over at all so if we have to wait for the right person then so be it.

But I also think Conte was right to a large extent. We have too many fair weather players , great when they're on it but weak and lacking fight when they are not - it shows in our results so clearly but also during games. Any manager coming in will suffer the same with some of this lot.

Forest aren't even that good which makes it even more frustrating, in a false position and can't see them remaining there.

Oh and the officials generally were fucking useless too.

The End.

Ange can fuck off now. Absolutely no guarantees the next man is any better but it can’t get worse than this dross. Someone earlier mentioned exciting, aggressive and attacking football - what we saw was none of the above.
100%!
Whereas the ‘it’s who we are football’? We hardly laid a glove on them so much for this all out style. It’s a myth as we create no decent chances and can’t even be bothered to cross the ball in for big dom! The tactic is basically to just have as many players as possible in sdvanced positiins without actually kniwing how we are getting the bsll to these players.

Ive seen enough Im afraid - no signs of progress, no shape and questionable commitment on the part of the players. Dodgy selections and bizarre substitutions. Reckon hes safe for now - but the end is in sight - just a question of when.
Why should he be safe for now? How low do we need to go? He should have gone already. We no real pattern in our play or any organisation.

Ange wanted to compete for the title. He’s not interested in getting 4th. Doesn’t want to win games when we don’t deserve it. Not make subs if not going to help. Wins a trophy in his 2nd season.
because hes a WINNER!! hes told us enough times hasnt he, all hes interested in is winning....welllll, now that hes realised this isnt the 53rd rated league in football, and his braindead, one plan, kamikaze bullshit doesnt work, its about entertaining now.

bless him, he just wants attention and to be respected.

Per DJ Check Complete DJ Check Complete in the Ange thread:

"Since the Chelsea 9 man collapse he’s 17-6-21 in the PL with a 38% win rate. With the 8 wins and 2 draws his full win percentage is about 50%."

It seems like we can go pretty low indeed...

Very quick search and see posts of yours knocking Nuno as no doubt many others did. Is Nuno still clueless? Hell of an effort to get Forest third fro someone so clueless

Not sure anyone here is even thinking about the top 4? Think most just want to avoid getting dragged into the relegation fight and hope we get lucky in any one of our cup runs.
Family get-together today, and my gooner brother-in-law couldn't wait to tell me we had lost, and was tried to get a rise out of me, by saying that we'll be lucky to stay up. I resisted the urge to bite, by focussing on the fact that his annoying smugness was somewhat beer-induced, whereas I was on the Typhoo, and could rise above it with a clear head. However, I could not help thinking that finishing in the top 10 seems unlikely, and we could be in a world of hurt at the end of the season, the way things are going.
