Ange told us the table doesn't lie. Well take a good look Ange
He told us last season 4th is no good to him only being top. He told he’s a winner before city home game last season. He tells us this all the time. He tells us lots of things. I keep wishing it will turn around that we have some good players and with a few tweaks here and there we could do something. However this guy lets me down all the time. He needs to go now!

The Palace, Bournemouth and Forrest defeats were all the same really. Refs give us nothing away from home and we just accept that, but the problem is we can't afford to go 1-0 down in these venues because that is when the time waisting starts and the walls close in on us.... all 3 goals were totally preventable so thats where we are going wrong. I've no doubt that if we scored first in all 3 games then they'd open up and we end up battering them... But the problem is they score first and we just don't react. Its a big problem... Ange and the players can't allow this to happen so often... We are becoming pathetic. Just a soft pathetic team with no bite.... Heads drop and we let them bully us
Problem is we generally can’t break teams down once they go 1 up and bunker down.

Levy is a levy. We know. But he cannot be blamed for this horrific results. The team shouldn’t be fighting to win the league but absolutely can and should be in the top 6 without any questions. The manager is bringing the squad and players down.

The depressing truth of this club in the Premier League era
May levy has nowhere to turn but the thought of his business empire having a football club in the champo surely must make him sweat. He can’t be the chairman / owner of getting the club relegated. What would it be worth to him then. So whatever we think of levy and the owners doesn’t matter. We still need to get rid of Ange and put some one in who knows what they are doing. The guy is like the weather. One min it’s “weren’t you entertained” next it’s we are in a difficult situation with injuries. By reckoning we are missing 1 goalie and 2 Cbs who all 3 have not looked solid this season.

Family get-together today, and my gooner brother-in-law couldn't wait to tell me we had lost, and was tried to get a rise out of me, by saying that we'll be lucky to stay up. I resisted the urge to bite, by focussing on the fact that his annoying smugness was somewhat beer-induced, whereas I was on the Typhoo, and could rise above it with a clear head. However, I could not help thinking that finishing in the top 10 seems unlikely, and we could be in a world of hurt at the end of the season, the way things are going.
Fair play for keeping a lid on it! At least he’s only your brother-in-law.

My future son-in-law is a gooner, which means any future grandchildren are very likely to be Mini-gooners! 😩😩😩😩

I know, it's a difficult situation, but it's really easy to go round in circles looking at the negatives. But I really believe you have to look at the performances in context of the situation with the squad etc.

I don't think you'll find anyone who is happy with results but it's a more complicated picture than it first looks. I think if you want to criticise anything the depth is the thing that needs to be looked at. The drop off from the first 11 is very very high.

It's an easy and understandable reaction to be angry, but it probably doesn't get us any further forward...
But our midfield and forward line have been first choice players.

Some of his tactical peculiarities are totally optional, in the sense that he can drop them without compromising his general approach and philosophy.

Take this underlapping fullbacks thing for example. It leaves the team shape heavily compromised whenever we lose the ball, it clogs the middle of the pitch even more, and we're not even taking advantage of its only supposed benefit which is letting wingers have an entire flank for themselves. I don't know if it works for anyone, but with the personnel we have it surely doesn't work for us.

His adamant refusal to use a holding midfielder in possession is another one. This is even more unorthodox. The marginal numerical advantage you're gaining by pushing one more man forward is not worth the colossal risk of leaving the middle of pitch wide open in case you turn it over. Even midfielders themselves instinctively know this. It comes natural to them to take turns between pushing forward and staying back, depending on the situation. Ange looks like he's actively trying to coach this simple and natural instinct out of them. It's bizarre to say the least.

The goal yesterday was a basic combination of #1 and #2. And it's not a one-off thing. It's been happening every single match, several times a match, since day one. It doesn't take a great observer to notice these stuff so he can't possibly be unaware.

I'm genuinely starting to believe that he's more worried about proving to everybody what kind of a genius he is than he is about winning football matches.
