Premier League Celebration GIF by MolaTV

An actual elite level manager with real skin in the game that would steel our defence and produces good xG (you love that wank shit) and would bare knuckle any man.

Spurs need a manager like Dyche who will make us a fortress at the back. People need to think critically. Just because he is defensive at Everton doesn't necessarily mean he would be the same for Spurs. IT’S EVERTON. They can only win points playing defensively and being set up well. They have an attacking crisis that isnt his fault because Everton is a gash club. He’s tasked with keeping them up with no funding and thats what he does.. theres parallels to that at Spurs. We want CL football with no funding. It is what it is. However our basic squad is still levels above Evertons.

Given that Dyche can thrive under these rigid conditions with players he is given irrespective of his own philosophy shows how underrated he is tactically. Again, think critically. Would Pep thrive at Everton? Id argue the case that its far harder to set up a team defensively with limited funds than it is to play attacking football with the worlds best players. Hence why I think Ange would probably do well at Man City. Weve had these huge name managers that unless they have everything 100% in their favour they collapse and cant even do basic managerial stuff. Dogmatic tactics that get us spanked every week. Shoehorning players that dont fit their “systems”

History is repeating itself ie Juande Ramos when Spurs were floating around looking for an identity during the mid 2000s. Then Harry Redknapp came in. A guy most people scoffed at and would scoff at today. He got us back to basics. Set us up well. Brought in a fatherly feeling and was a stand out voice for Tottenham Hotspur. He brought life back into the club and made us feel confident and gave us character. A no nonsense approach. Poch added to that.

And I think Dyche would bring the same. A no nonsense approach. Back to basics. A strong set up. A long term approach. He’s not a flittering manager that jumps from club to club spending millions.

He’s managed to keep Everton up despite the points deduction. He’s managed to keep them up despite Everton having an £80million positive net spend under him.

Heres a damning stat. Since the start of November, Everton have only conceded 5 goals. In contrast, Ange has conceded 24 goals.
Much rather dyche than southgate.
But the same fans who rejected nuno from the start would probably not let him in the door.

Why did he leave Dortmund and why has he not already joined another club?
He had a punch up with Hummels then he quit.

Got a feeling Hummels might have dusted him up good and Terzic thought nahhh fuck that I'm not going back. Hummels left aswell.

Seriously though, he probably felt emotionally done. lost the league on last day of season and then lost champions league final the year after, scrapping with players. The Dortmund hierarchy wanted him to stay on but he didn't.

We need an experienced man to come in, steady the ship in the league and focus on the Europe League. That should be the aim set by the club for the new guy.

Sensible football that won’t bore us to death.

Honestly, finding a manager like that isn’t as hard as the club will make it.

However, I’m worried they aren’t even looking yet and who even appoints him and makes the decision.

I’m sure I read somewhere that Sahin was instrumental in them doing well.

Could be simply bluff but the Besiktas presidential hopeful Serdal Adali said they tried to agree a deal with Edin Terzic but apparently he is holding out for a deal with us. Other than a successful period with BVB I don’t know to much about Terzic as a person.

Turkish football execs and journos are known to chat a bit of shit. But the long going rumour with Terzic is that he wants to have a go in the Premier League so there could be something to this.

As for him as a person. He seems like a good dude based on most accounts. A Dortmund lifer who went from the stands to the coaching bench. He's had a ton of jobs for them. He's been a scout, an assistant (and reportedly Jadon Sancho's baby sitter), interim manager, technical director, and finally manager. He's good at developing younger players (a must at Dortmund) and plays a direct attacking brand of football, but with more of a defensive identity than Ange for comparison's sake.

He had Dortmund the closest that they've come to dethroning Bayern since Klopp.

Is there a guarantee that he'd be a success here? Maybe not. But he's a young but experienced manager with a lot of upside. And if Spurs want to focus on buying young I think that he's as close to ideal as we can find.

In suspect it’s the club lining him up incase Ange drops further.

As this club is a total fucking joke and it hurts me to feel that way and as the board are a bunch of numpties and aren’t capable of supporting a manager looking at the squad the next manager should be a wing back guy or capable of using that system.

Vicario
Romero Dragusin VDV
Porro Sarr Bentancur Maddison Udogie
Johnson Solanke

352 would enable us to use our strongest aspect (midfield and wing backs), mean that Johnson only has to be a runner and box scorer in attacking areas rather than a winger (Johnson is a shit winger) and with 3 CB’s you only need 1 genuine CB, by which I mean you could play both Gray and Bissouma in a back 3 long as you have 1 proper fit CB.

It fits the mess of our squad better. As a club the manager has to fit the players rather than the players the manager because that is for some fucked up reason who we are. I would put Gray and Bergvall in as a they probably deserve it but you get the point.

No reason why we can't operate an authodox 433.

Hummels has a big mouth.

Slagged off Nagelsmann in the press too, so not surprising Terzic had problems with him.

No idea how legit it is: But I read that apparently the Dortmund brazz just wanted to brush the fight aside and not punish Hummels for that matter.

IF that is true I can understand Terzic leaving. It would have been impossible to be a position of power in that locker room after that.

Terzic oversaw an epic last day bottle job against mid table opposition whilst at Dortmund to blow the title, the equivalent of us needing a win at home to say Brentford to win the title and drawing, maybe it’s meant to be.
