Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

After today, as an outer, i'm not even angry at him like i was after previous matches. He adapted, he tweaked things. Udogie played a lot as almost 3CB in possession, we werent that much exposed. This match was different than it was vs Forest, Bmouth, CP, Ipswich and so on.

Both 2 wolves goals - not clear chances, very good shots (2nd one was mostly about that beautifull pass from Ait Nouri). Forster almost had nothing to do except for goals. We also didnt screw that much with playing from the back, we went long when needed

Think we could win if Johnson would be still at RW for those couple counters. Guys are definitely lost though in final 3rd, no patterns, we rely only on Deki/Solanke individually. Our attack is mess generally.

Kudos to Ange for trying something new. At least he is not that mad as i thought.

The truth is, the argument that the squad and injury crisis make this a near-impossible job for anyone coming in does hold some weight.

But the real concern is that even when the injured players return, Ange’s style of play seems almost tailor-made to send them straight back to the treatment room—and I fully expect that’s exactly what would happen.

This is one of those situations where any replacement for Ange would need some grace, as hitting the ground running feels unlikely in these circumstances. Honestly, who’d even want the job right now?

That said, with January around the corner, perhaps the promise of reinforcements could tempt someone to take on the challenge—assuming, of course, the club actually delivers on those promises, which I think they will because it’s all looking very desperate right now.
I'd be stunned if that were the case. What will happen is, is that we'll get in a couple of loans to cover the 'freak' injury crisis because Levy and co. will argue that once all the players are back, we'll have a bloated squad.

Club is a shambles and quite frankly I've become fairly numb to it the last few seasons.

It is funny he mugged off all the people that have been dying on the hill that he can't change anything due to principles or other such bollocks.
Why is it funny?

He should have learned this last year. It’s too little too late. Fair play and what have you but what, it is supposed to be “in your face” after 18 months or dog shit?

And even so - we don’t even know if it’s him doing it or the players just doing it. We will find out shortly.

Whatever happens over the next couple of days.. If I see one more article after a disastrous result where the club have briefed that they're not thinking of doing anything "knee-jerk". I'll feel ill.

If you want to sit on your hands and accept that the results and standards of the actual team is secondary to whatever other sponsorhip or real estate chicanery you have going on. Then whatever. But at least stop announcing it every 5 fucking minutes.

I don't know who it would be, but both Redknapp and BMJ took over squads and improved them just by getting them to run around a bit more...
Yeah, but our problem isn’t the players not running around enough. Our persistent running has burned up the team, and we just don’t have the team for a more pragmatic approach right now either.

I’m not sure what a new coach offers except to just stop the feedback loop of negativity.

if he gets sacked i want the record to show that he didn't get to execute his plan properly with a normal amount of luck

both seasons had been derailed by injury

the ange in the alternate universe 8304B, the one where the chelsea game went to plan last year and ended 3-1, well that ange's tottenham rides the wave for longer, mounts a semi serious title challenge and finishes a closer 3rd

that ange would have been backed stronger with champions league power
There's a universe where the Mourinho-Tottenham hold on against Liverpool, too; or the Akanji foul on Vic is given or Son doesn't give away a penalty when he's asked to play LB...we can't just blame the injuries - AP's tactics have not helped one bit. Richie fair enough, but the others...no, they've not been helped by having to complete so many sprints (and long sprints if your LB /RB/LW/RW) or VdV having to cover the defensively invisible MF and a wandering-Romero.

Tbf, I was just semi-quoting Redknapp. I should have said: 'play with a bit more structure and composure - possibly also some in-game management'.
