For the "10 players out" lot, the team that lost at home to fucking Ipswich:

Vicario; Porro, Romero, Dragusin, Udogie; Bentancur, Sarr; Johnson, Kulusevski, Son; Solanke.

Amongst the subs, Maddison, Spence, Davies, Bissouma, Werner

Nobody went off injured this game. I haven't bothered to look up the teams that handed Palace their first win, or capitulated to Brighton in the second half.

Stop making excuses for this manager, he isn't the one. There is no perfect candidate to replace him but we can do better than this.
Vic, Romero and VDV started against both Brighton and Palace. But yeah... as soon as these guys are back we'll be COOKING!

I want a manager who knows the prem. I don't want someone who needs time to "adjust" (Slot aside) I no longer want excuses being made for poor results/performances and someone saying the word "project"/"plan" or any other job saving bollocks!
The game of football is simple, maybe why I enjoy it so much. If you have 20+ players who can pass a ball in a 20 yard straight line and comfortably receive a ball from 20 yards then you have the foundations. The rest is just getting those players in the right positions and mindset on match day. Truly, this is the extent of successful, entertaining football. All those blagging a living out of suggesting it is anything more than this are just part of the con!

You can't honestly believe this side is gonna win a cup?

Those who

Defensive stats with VDV and Romero in the early part of the season were close to league-leading I recall.

Postecoglu is actually doing some of the stuff people called for: attacking football, taking the cups/Europe seriously (remember all those complaints under Poch through to Conte about rotating players for the cups) .

So now we have a manager who rotates less, asks his players to press high, but we are seeing that we still just don't have the squad to cope. So we see injuries, fatigue and worsening performances. That will all improve if and when we get reinforcements, and/or less fixture congestion.

Personally I think it would be a big error to let Levy off the hook by letting him scapegoat another manager. Those who disagree, what's the plan? Who is next up? And why will they fare any better under Levy?
I think the caveat that went without saying there was good attacking football.

I just watched this two part video on Edin Terzic talking about the champions league semi final win against PSG. (They won both legs 1-0). Different formations, respecting the threat of the opposition etc. They came top of a tough group, won at the San Siro and away to Newcastle, beat Atletico Madrid in the quarter final...watch these videos and tell me you'd rather have Ange taking us through the Europa League instead. I hope the links to him are true and we give him half a season and a run at the Europa League to see what he can do.

Is this accurate can any brainic verify it?
It seems believable. I'm not going to verify it all as would be a bit time consuming but quick look at just this season's Premier League:
Micky VDV started 9 games of which we lost 4 - loss % 44
Radu Dragusin started 12 games of which we lost 6 - loss % 50
Cristian Romero started 12 of which we lost 6 - loss % 50
Ben Davies started 4 games of which we lost 1 - loss % 25 (bravo Ben)

With Archie Gray is a little complicated as sometimes got minutes at DM or RB or LB but last 4 games he played 90' at CB and we lost twice.
The point is we're bad whoever plays. And across 40+ games it would even out even more.

You also don’t think we will win a EL or a cup
What have you seen this season that makes you think we will? I'm tired of hearing the injuries excuse as well, every team deals with injuries, who was injured for the limp dick home loss to Woolwich? Who was injured when we drew 1-1 at Leicester on the opening day of the season? Only VDV missing for the 2-1 loss to Ipswich, as well as the loss to Newcastle, though Newcastle had both their starting CBs out? Full strength bar Son (who has had a very poor season) for the Brighton loss, who also had multiple first team injuries? Being back to full strength is not going to change things, and frankly this kamikaze system and ineptitude of the coaching staff to prepare the team for matchdays is making injuries a feature of Ange, not an excuse for him to hide behind, something he is actively contributing to. Can you remember a single other manager who has had his so called "poor fortune" with injuries?

I do. Until we can’t

How many times have we looked good and won fuck all?
Same as normal. Fuck all. And we look further from winning anything now than ever.
I Loved ange taking over but its terrible now. Absolutely shocking. Id love him to win something but i think we are further now than ever. If im wrong i will apologise straight away and drink to celebrate like a demon but cant see it happening.
Even the wife said id have 3 days free reign drinking if we won anything. She knows it wont happen because im a miserable fucker when they lose

Does kind of seem like Ange has been figured after the first 10 matches of last season. It's like I don't want to admit it, as I too just like a lot of others on here don't want to keep recycling through managers - but the stats are right there in front of us to prove it.

It’s not letting Levy off the hook to say Ange is not the right guy. Both can be true. Ange and Levy can both be not qualified for their jobs.

If you support Ange, my question would be what has Levy done wrong? He’s bought players Ange wanted, he’s kept every player but Kane we wanted and he’s sold those we wanted out.

I can see blaming Levy for keeping Ange but if you like Ange, what did Levy do wrong?
