Just watching Sean Butler

Hes been getting massively on my nerves about ENIC for a while, but he's massively heel-turned on Ange now.

Raises a really worrying point. If he fluked a win vs Liverpool and we win the league cup, we'd look bad for sacking him.

My opinion is he HAS to go before the 1st leg.
99% sure we won't win anyway, but let's not give him some kind of leg up to staying any longer
I don’t think we win the first leg with Ange. It’s that simple.

We might get lucky if someone else is in charge, but we will almost certainly lose with Ange.

Oh, NOW you're looking at the last 6
Happy Eddie Murphy GIF by Laff

I’m always looking at the last 6 games. And last 10.

Get with the programme!

Forgot to put him in. Although he was hideously out of form for the start of the season anyway and people wanted Dragusin in!

We're missing a CB partnership and a goalkeeper. That will obviously hurt you. But ultimately Vicario, whilst good, is not world class. He's not even close to it. He was having an iffy season along with Romero. Only VDV out of those 3 was putting in performances that you'd expect to be transformative.

Those 3 injuries + the other players out you'd expect to cause a drop off. I wouldn't expect to draw at home to Wolves or to concede 6 at home or some of the other shite we've experienced. And regardless, our most embarrassingly crap results occurred prior to all these injuries! Palace and Ipswich were utterly dreadful outings.
I would say Vicario IS world class at shot stopping! The rest, not so much!

We still need a much better goalkeeper than Forster tho, he screams midtable club.

Ange is clearly in big trouble and might be sacked in the next couple of weeks .I think it’s Important that we resign ourselves to continued failure whoever we get in to avoid disappointment though . ENIC have overseen 25 years of failure , the idea that a new manager will do anything other than maybe tighten the defence a bit is fantasy . It will be another rebuild on the cheap , more false promises from the intern and the inevitable sacking of whoever replaces Ange .

I accept the Ange hiring has not worked out , but I am not going to allow myself to get excited by whoever the next sacrificial lamb is .

If you’re Ange you don’t turn the job down , he is knocking on and this gig is by far his biggest payday . The bile should still be directed at ENIC after Ange has no doubt been inhumanely put down with maximum lack of class by our ever more useless chairman.

When Ange goes we will not stop being a laughing stock . Levy has made us a banter club long before Ange and we will continue to be ridiculed as long as the world’s worst intern remains at the club.

Nonsense.

Our squad is 6 to 9 points off of where it should be.

Do Forest have a better squadcthan us?

Postecoglou is not getting the best out of the players at his disposal, but has been very unfortunate with the level of injuries, and it's only that which is saving him,or something big is happening in the background.

Let's stop this fcuking ENIC narrative.

He screams relegation to me. He doesn't start for any other club in the league but we are expected to play him for 4 months and still be challenging for Europe? This is why I'm happy to give Ange a chance to get his players back. The current crop of available players has us around midtable at best. Even yesterday from Wolves, Sa, Ait Nouri, Gomes, Cunha and one one of their centre backs would all start for our current team so the 2-2 draw isn't even that much of an underperformance

My biggest problem with today’s game is some people say he was more pragmatic and the full backs weren’t inverting. I watched today’s game and was baffled by the actual tactics. We seemed to have no connection between attack and defence they were miles apart most the match. On top of that we played 70 minutes with a double Pivot. It all just seemed to disjointed and chaotic. Where have all the small triangles gone from the start of last season?

Everything about Spurs now looks undrilled and off the cuff. Our press seems to have no trigger and too often it is only one player pressing. Bissouma and Bentancur look completely confused what they are meant to be doing. Also why is Maddison all of a sudden benched when in a few games he has been our best player. On another note why are Son and Johnson used so poorly and not used to their strengths.

Yeah I agree. It does mean though that once he goes it shouldn’t really take long to get the players playing to their skills. I would just get someone in again who can do that. Football doesn’t always have to be a complicated game. But then again we would be going around in circles unless that person also plays the football the squad is built for. I still go back to the summer he was appointed and Poch was sitting there for months by the phone waiting for the call. He was the obvious one to go to.

Is Mike Bassett available? Spurs will be playing FOUR FOUR FUCKING TWO

What reBUILD. Please, draw it out for everyone here. What are the outlines of the reBUILD. Together with actual proof that is happening. Building something is not some Bloody Mary urban myth that just saying the term three times will magically make it appear. There has to be plan, there have to be some aspects of proof that this thing in fact is happening.

I love this club and I want it to do well. And I do not see any progress at all. Not even the slighest. Results have been getting progressively worse and worse and worse and worse. What currently is happening is demolishion. I do not see incremental gains from one week or one month to another. I see that we have just completed half a season with 24 points. I see calendar year being finished with 51 points. A full year of unmitigated disaster. If we would actually adapt in some way and I would actually witness improvements in our games and results, the story would be different. But our performances under him started off well, but the longer period you look, the worse average results get. What grants and guarantees the inherent belief that we are building anything and not destroying?

You say that it is boring to read same comments over and over again. I get it. But change then the dynamics and lay out some explained arguments where this progress lies in. Right now all I see from people who urge to keep him are very basic and vague. Mainly can be summed up as "have more patience", "give him more time", "chananging managers does not fix all the issues", "who is even available to take over now" etc. Also quite repetitive.

It is sports and everything is evaluated through the results. I know what you say - that long term results are what matter - and it is true as well. Only as I pointed out - so far the longer it goes on, the worse results have been getting. So again - based on what should we expect this trend to change?

Nah I can't be arsed, you're right there is no rebuild and we're an unmitigated disaster.

You asked the man to change tactics and wonder why the play looked disjointed lol

Ange looking confused on the touchline wondering why we keep dropping points.

Meanwhile:

Arne Slot explaining that clean sheets are the key to winning.

Just watching their highlights now. They make the game look easy while we make it look hard. West Ham had some chances but that didn’t deter them, they kept going, they had faith it would work in the end. That’s down to tactics and confidence. We have neither, getting a few players back from injury won’t change that. I’m just using them as an example as I saw your post and at watching motd. Really that could apply to most teams above us while we drop like a stone.

Ange is nearly joint favourite with Lopetegui in the sack race at the moment.

It's difficult to see how he gets out of this.

For all our injuries , that starting lineup should have been more than enough to beat a then 17th placed wolves, new manager bounce or not.

We still had Maddison, Sarr and Bergval on the bench to come in.....and Werner.

We played well but just didn't have enough to get us over the line - Son missing cost us unfortunately.

But if we haven't got enough talent to see us beat Wolves then we are in much much bigger shit than I thought we were.

But I've got a sneaking suspicion our prima donna players have given up in the league and are happy with whatever just as long as we don't get relegated.......I bet we put on a performance against Liverpool in the cup.....and I think that will piss me off even more......
