I know what you mean, and I won't pretend I don't have doubts too however, there is simply no way he can survive losing the next three league games. Newcastle at home, and Woolwich and Everton away. Takes him up to 19th January and by then we will be in a relegation fight.

The way we are playing, the best we can hope for is a draw against Newcastle and a draw against Everton. I don't see us winning either, and actually I think we will lose both. The Woolwich game is an absolute write off.

I know we've been saying it for ages, and we keep moving the goalposts, we have a poor few games, Ange survives, then we say ok it'll be the next run of games, but it's getting to a crunch point now. If things don't improve now, we will be in a fight at the bottom, with a manager who can't keep a clean sheet or pick up a result at home, which is a recipe for disaster.

Levy's arse will go at that point. He can't have Spurs go down, I know it's unlikely but if there's a chance, the risk cannot be taken, it would be an utter disaster for his investment.

If he does then something else is going on. Has to be.

Yeah think it's something like 11 in all comps

Still don't rate him though

We'll never be serious with players that are passengers for 89 mins every week

Because you have eyes.

Someone else mentioned Chadli in regard to him. It’s a great comparison. An alright player who had really good numbers at one point but we still relegated him to the bench. Because as a footballer he was nothing special.

Goals matter but they can’t be all a player offers unless his goal return is utterly exceptional. Johnson is so, so poor in terms of all round game.

I was feeling positive about this as our players are finally getting a bit of a rest but Isak scares me! It should be a good game (for the neutral 😬). Would be great to start the new year with a result. COYS!

Charlie had way more to his game than Johnson. I’d start Chadli over any of our wingers today

the detail may be in the contract? Who blinks first? The performance clauses will be ticked off and the board will then meet?
1. Europe qualification via PL (if top 4 or 5 is out of sight) 2. League Cup first leg 9 January ..... decision. ?? 3 - Europa won't be left to chance and we may have a new manager by then (24 January Hoffenheim) after NLD (if it gets that far 16 Jan).
Yes could be. I wonder if the result at Ipswich sharpened Levy’s spider senses…
